friendly 1000 vs busa street race.

[/I]
i see them do it every week at the drag strip and the new bmw has hit 8.98 in the quarter...wich is faster then almost everyone on a stock gen 2

You are talking about an SS prepped S1000RR with a jockey rider NOT a box stock bike. There are so few of either running 8's, you could even go out on a limb and say more BUSA's are doing it than BMW's at this point... :poke:

The 1000 I think will beat you any day every day in the 1/8 .
Need space for the busa to run .
The two bikes are so close in performance it will come down to reaction time and who trees who .

270 on a 1000 ? Ever seen an elephant on a barstool

Sorry couldn't resist .
Just remind him there's no 1000.org :)

Lastly you've already accepted the challenge but next time someone talks smack just tell them folks always criticize things they are jealous of and walk away.

These internet races never happen........

And all these responses have me rolling:rofl:

It is going to come down to rider, bottom line IF it ever happens:whistle:

yes i do... osceola dragstrip....indiana its 1/4 nhra track...and u can kiss my :moon:

It's a little different when you race at Ryan Schnitz's local home track. So YA that is the only place in the world it may be happening every weekend. Love how people don't bother to share all the FACTS for people that don't know better...

I would still be very careful playing around against a 1K and especially the new BMW as they become more popular. Seems like the issue is keeping the new Beast on the ground not making power.

When Ryan goes to play I can assure you he doesnt go to oceolla. Rarely does he go anymore but its usually Muncie dragstrip.

I do not think you have practiced drag racing enough
you're right but i'm not going to drag it on forever. hasn't happened yet but next time we get together to go ride i'm sure we'll do it. i don't care if i lose, i feel like i know enough now to be competent at least. actually really i feel like i have a decent chance. we'll see. i'll let ya'll know when it's over and post vid if i get one. anybody in the houston area is welcome to hang out with us too.

All you really have to do is find someone that can ride and put them on your bike.
After all you said he talked about beating your bike not you. When you talk bike against bike its all about bikes, when you talk him against you it all about rider. Its amazing how many of the fasted passe in the world are made on busa's

You mean 1-BMW....ONE BMW in the entire world is running those times... j/k

I bet there is 2:moon::laugh:

They are a strong bike and I dont think it will take much for a norm rider to get it in the 8.90s myself. An arm and a clutch mod and 175#s will do it. Might go fianlly play myself this weds night at muncie. Not expecting great times for a couple outings. But need to get some seat time in. Its been 2 full seasons since Ive been on a track. And im running totally stock clutch to see if I can do it and not change anything.
