front wheel stand for busa

I bought a LP front stand...after three lifts the "pin" that locates and lifts up the front was bending. Yes, it broke, and compressed parts above it, popping some of the plastic push clips out. I made one out of stainless, seems to be ok. Just one more thing to keep an eye on.

With the wrap around front fender this stand will not work. You would have to remove the fender each time to lift. Not an option. I just switched my front fender to an after market one with out the wrap around. Ordered the front Cycle Cat and should have it next week. I will report on how it works with some pics when I get it.

Received the stand today. Just put handle in lift and ready to go. Lifted the back with Cycle Cat rear. Boy is it easy on the back. Then put the new front Cat under the forks and lifted. It went right up and with much less effort than with the Pit Bull fork lift. Didn't feel like a groin pull with the Cat. Very stable on way up and I shook the bike a little while on the stand and it too felt stable. I wasn't sure about spending the money for another front stand but the ease and stability is worth the $200.00. Now some pics of stand in use.

I was gonna say that your fender is still on, contrary to Cycle Cat's warning... but I see you have a different fender.

That is correct. I have an aftermarket fender on mine. Without the covering on the forks I may lose a couple mph on the big end. But I don't go there anyway so being able to use this new stand is a plus.
