Nothing is changed in the transmission, I do have a 42t sprocket and wanted the mph correctThks good job. You have a speedohealer. What do you change in your transmission?
I see your starter relay mounting position is changed, why?Cleaned up the rat nest some. Dead in the water till the pump gets here. Maybe Sunday.

Don’t know anything about the starter relay, unless that is what the main positive wire is connected to. If that’s it then it was moved when I put the gsxr1000 tail on. The busa subframe had to be modified to adapt the OtherI see your starter relay mounting position is changed, why?
Man those steel subframes look ugly, I’m used to seeing my aluminium subframe lol, that subframe you have looks unusual.. what’s going on there?
Aaaaaaaahh, yes, of course! The pieces are falling into place now lol.Don’t know anything about the starter relay, unless that is what the main positive wire is connected to. If that’s it then it was moved when I put the gsxr1000 tail on. The busa subframe had to be modified to adapt the Other
got the tail reassembled this morning and got a shot of the inside of the tank. Also replaced the vent hoses on back of the tank and drilled the bypass hole out to 1/4. As an added bonus I found out that the pump is out for delivery a day early

So basically the whole reason for the modification is to have the ability to change the real filter without replacing the entire enclosed unit. X<$200 and some time vs $600+ for a drop in replacement.
Absolutely necessary if you plan on keeping the bike more than 10,000 miles IMO!
@SSGT_B how did you make the injector tester-cleaner connection?
I could tell the wiring and pvc cap, but I wasn't sure how you connected it to the fuel injector. Easy peasy!i used a pice of rubber hose that fit over the injector. A 1/2 pvc cap from my sprinkler system. Glued cap over one end of hose. Drilled a hole in the cap and glued the spray nozzle into the cap. Used a clamp on the hose to hold it on injector. For power I used a 9v battery with a power lead I made from scrap projects. Honestly about 1.50 worth of materials I had laying around. I can take better pics of it for you tomorrow if you like
To quote Isoroku Yamamoto. :I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve.
Is perfect as the giant is awake and that throttle response is pissed off!!! Lol
I will need to have it tuned on the quick as my wb reads 10.8-11.4 afr cruising around. A lol too rich for my taste. Now on to pictures so that someone here who shall remain nameless will give me my damn pie back!

It is completely surrounded in fuel. its in the lowest possible point the fuel can be in the tank - in the very bottom on the "pump assembly" - that bulge that protrudes out of the bottom of the tank - its in there. So it doesn’t float free in the fuel, it’s enclosed? There has to be more to the fuel filter than that though right? Never had one out on the bench.
Runs smother and more zippy. Only issue now is I need a tune as it is Definitely getting more fuel and running fatWell......results?!? total beast now or what?!
I also cut off the female plastic clip on the bosch pump to totally expose the spade connectors which makes it easier to solder.
