Endurance tanks are now being created for the Gen 3 holding a whopping 26L litres but comes with a hefty price tag.
$2500 USD.
$2500 USD.
Yoshimura has endurance tanks for the two previous generations and I have no doubt they’ll create one for the Gen 3.Didnt even know they made bigger tanks, should be nice for long trips.
I’m getting almost that now.yea thats alot of fuel. 6.8 gallons should in theory get you to 240 miles to a tank conservatively
2kgs lighter than stock.Does it say the weight anywhere??
I’m getting almost that now.
Ideal for touring which some think carbon wheels aren't suited for. Almost tempting to buy and put in the closet if i ever choose to buy a Gen 3 in years to come.i think i would stick a jerry can on the back seat if i needed that extra fuel on a long trip. But here in the UK, going from Cardiff to London is like a trip to the shops for you guys.
For $2500 you could put that towards a nice pair of carbon fibre wheels
Hi. I went the other way. I went with a carbon fiber 3 gal tank.Ideal for touring which some think carbon wheels aren't suited for. Almost tempting to buy and put in the closet if i ever choose to buy a Gen 3 in years to come.
That's correct on the order but one is in stock so no delay. Had to wait 14 months for my Yoshimura 24L endurance for the Gen 2.
I ride a tade hard I guess. I normally get 37mpgDoes it say the weight anywhere??
I’m getting almost that now.
I wonder if that’s just the fuel cell or all the additional OEM junk they added on the Gen-3.2kgs lighter than stock.
