Any guesses on Gen-3 weight?

Figure exhaust drops 35, battery, wheels, pegs, etc and you’re almost sub-500lbs without spending crazy money on carbon bits yet
Battery: 8 lb, forged aluminum wheels: 8 lb, footrest assy: 3 lb, gas cap, 0.5 lb, bar ends: 1.5 lbs., bar ends: 1.5 lb, mirrors: 1.5 lb, rear fender: 1 lb, horn: 0.5 lb, side stand 0.75 lb, Tool kit: 2lb = 28.25 lb. + 35 for a very light full system = 63.25. There's about 5 lbs of unneeded stuff like steering stem cover and chain guard.

You can take almost 70 lbs off the busa so yeah, if your Gen 3 is 567 lbs, it will come in under 500 after mods.

No tool kit on the Gen-3 like previous Gen’s..

Of course....after mods....stock it is what it is....heavy.....Suzuki says it's 582lbs which could be an error on their scales.

My guess is different countries have different things. For instance electronic mobilizer in the key/ignition in some markets, India gets the metal front plate bracket, etc. Better to advertise one weight over estimated than have other markets raising heck about it being wrong.

Mine came with tools, 3 allens and a screw driver. If that qualifies a "tool kit".
Unfortunately previous Gen’s came with all the basics to adjust chain and everything in a little tool bag including tank prop rod. Gen-3’s don’t have any of that.

It's probably the same as modern cars and a spare tire option these days....this generation (for the most part) don't know how or have the desire to wrench anything anymore.

I don't get the omittance of the prop rod though....unless it's the same reason...Suzuki figures the bike will be at the shop more?

Yours came with a steering stem cover? I've had them on past generations, but they were aftermarket.

A 4-2-1 CT (titanium) full exhaust is 9.9lbs. I didn't see them list their stainless system, but will be a good bit less than 35lbs.

Sunoco 93 but it does seem odd that it’s that much lighter. Figure 6lbs per gallon and five gallons is 30lbs less empty.

I need to research if there is a Cali model like previous Gen’s or why the big difference.

I was making a (apparently really poor) joke about different octane having significantly different weight, but thanks for answering it. :) I miss Sunoco's 94 octane!

Good points. I think they have been making one EPA compliant bike. The truth is that we may never fully validate the published numbers.

Did you include the rear seat cover? Might not even be a pound though.
