GEN 3 OEM HEADER

Also remember that there are so many things available for the Gen 1 & 2 bikes because they have been around for 20+ years! They don't sell many per year but a big chunk of bikes have been rolling and active for much of that 20 years. That makes the Gen1 & 2 busas a target-rich environment for companies marketing parts.

If you think about it, it's probably difficult to even get a Gen 3 to test parts fit on.
VERY true....The fact that these bikes stay on the road a long time also makes used-availability a challenge.

Like I said, give us time, we'll get it figured out !.

Where are the org's tig welder/ fabricators?
For someome of that skill-set this is an easy fix.
Customer(one of us) buys whatever full single header and a set of dual slip-ons.
Gen2 stock headers aren't hard to come by. Use them as a templet, and weld in an X pipe configuration.
That guy will make a few bucks for his efforts, I'm sure worth his while.

I can tig but dont want to test on my brand new ride. Hell Ive asked local shop if they had an take off header so I can gut it and fab up my own. Ive seen them for 200 on ebay shipped. Im seriously looking into it. Brocks has the CT dual for the GEN 2 but they say it wont fit without mods and any mods void any warranty. hell Id just weld in another bung and have both 02 sensors. Im just super curious about the internals of this header pipe with cat.

The whole system won't fit because the mufflers have fixed mounting holes(unlike Akropovic with sliding hangers).
Maybe Brocks would sell just the header then?!
They sell the 2 into 1 O2 adapter harness to use gen2 exhaust on the gen3.
And you could easily add a 2nd O2 bung into their dual header.

This will fit too

First Busa dual header I've ever seen without and H or X pipe
but Delkevic makes good stuff, so??

I confirmed with M4 that the gen2 and 3 exhaust Are the same.
The head pipe spacing yes, but also the midpipe angle, as their exhausts are for 08-22.
The Only difference between gen2 and 3 IS the passenger peg, muffler hanger location.
So, Any mufflers with the sliding hangers(like Akropovic and M4) Will Fit.
This also applies to the gen1, they'll fit those too.

Suzuki didn't reinvent the bike to such a level gen 2 stuff can't fit...that's smart on their behalf....

Their engineers knew there's a ton of aftermarket out there for these bikes.

I contacted Delkevic
waiting on a response.
I'll post what they say(assuming they answer).

There are a pile of videos of Gen 3's on the dyno out there with various systems on them...the gains look to be around 10 rwhp or so...pretty much on par with a gen 2 from what I see.
I havnt looked
I'll check them out.
I'm not an every possible hp guy either.
I like a quiet dual exhaust for some heat and weight loss.

I think we're good to use the Black Widow dual header(and I'll bet Delkevic too) on the gen3, as the head pipes are the same, and gen2 exhaust fit the gen3 as long as the mufflers have sliding hangers.
The only differences between the gens is the passenger peg/muffler mount locations.
These will work on the gen1 as well.
@Spudley and I have been looking and talking about them.
And @Bumblebee mentioned youtube, which is where you see our confirmation.
So thanks to those guys for their help.
So, if you want full duals on any gen, pick your header, BW with the H pipe, or Delkevic without, and pick your slipons(again, as long as they have sliding hangers so the mounting points can line up) and it looks good to go!

And
for anyone interested
@Spudley will confirm later if the gen1 and 2 slipons will fit the Stock gen3 header, for anyone condsidering going that route.

I did note that single exhaust systems seem to be the only ones on the gen 3 in any of the videos so far...
