Gen2 copart special: redemption

Waiting for new wheel bearings to come in for front wheel, then I think I'll be able to go take it to get a safety inspection and start registration process. Still have a ton of work from there but at least it'll be moving and driveable.

Today I noticed an interesting detail:

Regular ECM part number: 32920-15H80
CA Emissions (E33) ECM part number 32920-15H90

My replacement ECM is from a non-CA bike, but my original ECM is from a CA bike. I am hoping to play with it in the woolich tuning software and maybe figure out how to make it work. I just bought it, figure I'm in this far may as well go all the way.

Omg going onto month 3 now of waiting for fairings

I am not patient enough for this crap! Monster fairings has been awesome about responding but man this wait is killer.

I've never bought rotors before and find myself confused about fitting then. It isn't clear to me what SIZE rotors I need. Everything seems to be sold out that expressly advertises for a gen2 Hayabusa.

sure I'm being dense here, can anyone help me understand the sizing of these things?

A few of us are running arashi rotors. I have had no issues and I don’t believe anyone else has. It’s another option for you.

literally random, I'll try 1100

Edit: now it idles fine at 1100

sounds great at idle too

I had a feeling it was in the ecu, seemed it had been flashed with racing on the brain. I toyed with the idea of having mine bumped up when I was getting my flash but decided against it after riding with a few guys that had theirs bumped up and with their shorty tips they became annoying real quick

Alright I'll do a comprehensive update:

Installed progrips, wanted something softer for my delicate handsies:

Swapped out for a new ignition, fuel tank lock and trunk lock - and now I have TWO keys omg. This was actually A HUGE PAIN.

Blocked off & removed PAIR valve

Deleted charcoal canister and capped out all the CA evap lines

Installed the woolich racing harness, which was kinda tricky to figure out

Finally, flashed the ECM and fixed the idle:

Also installed LED running lights, and I'll be putting in the same HID kid on my last busa soon.

I am waiting for the front rotors to ship, and my local shop is currently installing the new wheel bearings - they already had the wheel from putting tire on.

AND I'll prob get my new fairings this week!!!

Feelin pretty pretty good

Since u have the woolich software u can turn the pair valve off in the ecu and then u don't need that eliminator hooked up.
