On February 15, Suzuki notified the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of a recall (recovery and free repair) due to a problem with the front brake of the large sports tourer " Hayabusa ". The target is 1557 units manufactured from February 25, 2021 to December 21, 2021.
The 20 replacement repair parts that were shipped from May 26, 2021 to June 3, 2022 and whose assembled vehicle cannot be identified are also eligible.
In the subject vehicle, the setting of the oil passage for regulating the hydraulic pressure of the brake is inappropriate in the front brake master cylinder body, so the oil passage may remain blocked. Therefore, under certain conditions, the brake lever has more play, and in the worst case, the braking distance may increase.
As a remedy, we will replace the front brake master cylinder body on all vehicles with the countermeasure product, and replace the front brake master cylinder related parts with new ones.
There were 29 malfunctions and no accidents. A recall was filed based on information from the market.

ask ur local suzi dealer / and step on his feet / toes - lill hint ask ur girlfriend to do this with the heel of her high heels
Now that the "mothership" has identified there is an issue, it will filter down to any affected bike....
Probably why not all of them have this problem as Suzuki must have caught it and corrected them on the way out the door...
A TSB should have been issued though....

I read the description, but still want to see the bad design or machining of the "port hole" in the failing mc's.

Sorry but i dont want to take my bike to the dealer for the change because i dont know ho long they will take and for that reason this makes me think and look for an upgrade so the question and assigment for all is wich front master cylinder can be installed to fix this problem as soon as posible?
Mine was replaced, quite a while ago. It's in the brake fade threads. I live in Arizona.
I remember that, but it wasn't a recall.
Another U.S member posted having their mc replaced too, only for that one to do the same thing.
Apparently Suzuki has narrowed down it's bad batches of mc's to a vin# range of bikes they went on in Japan now, which is good, but they need to get it done in the U.S now too.
Sh*t quality with little to nothing done about it, is rampant everywhere since covid.

Guess Suzuki USA hasn't had recall letter yet!
