So let me see of i understand the ones that replase the fairing bolts are the ones that you purchase 8 of them? The M6x1.00mmx20? Thanks in advance

Correct, 8 of them (2 per side fairing, 2 per side of fender). Same with the 8 washers for them. M5s were windscreen and dash panel.

Couldn't believe how tight those bolts were. Took ALOT of effort to remove even with a 1/2 in torque wrench. Hopefully tomorrow I will have the titanium lowering link bolts/nuts that I'm not sure will fit :-)

In one of my post i wrote i changed my bar ends from a GSXR 1000 not sure if 2019 model because a friend gave them to me the thing is i like having shorter bar ends the oem are too big. When i buyed my stand bolts i measured them and yes they fit. I know theyre a bit shorter but i dont care my goal is loose a little weight here and there so i buyed another stand bolt set and here is the result.

Since had on hand, they are few mm longer but work. Ordering some gas tank and bar ends from China, m5x10 and M12x1.25x50

I changed those too they dont make a big weight difference but they look nice.

Yeah, I don't know why they don't make red for the fairing kit.

Cannot anodize titanium red , unlike aluminum .

SAE are really providing a great selection of ti bolts nowadays . The Gen 2 days there was in the earlier years , limited available anywhere , then if you really had to hunt around . I had a lot of fasteners , such as the 2 seat mount bolts , machined from a regular ti bolt . Be sure to check that you are choosing Grade 5 Ti bolts for any load areas , and beware that a lot of ti bolts currently being sold on Ebay are actually now a much lesser grade GR 2 , GRADE 2 .

Mine was 442.3 lbs on my suspension guys scales last week.

With things I have on order/in the mail I shouid end up 428-433, if you believe advertised weight savings.

My goal is 480 lbs 400 whp and a turbo system adds approx 45 lbs.

I don’t believe in naturally aspirated vehicles lol. My daily is a diesel VW that’s deleted, turbo swapped and tuned too

Unit5 has Ti axles. I think they even have an aluminum front axle

Im in fot that but im not trying to be the lightest around my weight removal Ti addiction is just for fun.

i understand your point, but there are many people spending a lot of money on titanium parts and i think it is not for fun..lol since you are spending money it would be good to know if it really is worth spending so much money and compare the weight before and after.
