Glad your injuries were not severe. Sounds like God has given you your shot on two wheels.....time to move on.

good luck with ya next purchase.

That really, REALLY sucks, bro.

The whole story.

Sorry for you, but glad you're okay and are smart enough to revise your position.

Thanx Guys, I am gunna miss all the great people on here if I stray from the Busa ! :beerchug:

hey you dont have to leave, we will still welcome ya if you have a different bike, good luck:thumbsup:

Thanx Q !
I have been looking at the orange 08' (just checking pricing) already, maybe it was the colour that was unlucky (i live in hope). I just dont know if I can break the Busa addiction. Its like the only woman I ever really loved, and she's left me. I think I'm going to do anything to be back together with her again ... sob sob sob
Things will be different next time darling >>> I promise

maybe we should whack some training wheels on your next bike, Hobo !!!! :poke:
but seriously, it woulda sucked for me bigtime to be going to your funeral.....this early !!!
U know there's always an old 'busa hangin' around, if ya wanna ride....

keep it fun,
baz.

Sorry to hear about your accident, I had one last year on my MX bike that had me out for a year. Was wondering if your exhaust was in good shape and if youd be willing to sell it? let me know.

Thanks

just tapping on the rear brake to slow up a little, the rear end of the bike breaks loose by the time I corrected I was on the wrong side of the road and heading towards an oncoming car.

Classic!

It happens alot to people using the rear brake incorrectly.

Sorry about the accident, hope everything turns out OK for you.

Thats not good at all Hobo.

The background in the pictures looks very much Australian, even the car has right hand drive. Where are you located? Melbourne calling here?

I am from Pacific NW and on the way to Neah Bay, WA. I was unfamiliar with the road but couldn't resist the great twisties and wide openness of it all.... I came over a slight hill and road bent heavily to the left. Just like yourself, I ended up right into the oncoming lane of traffic, luckily nobody was there! :please: That was enough of a wake up for the day and i slowed up and rolled abck into my comfort zone. Not even another .5 mile later, someone that was up ahead took a left corner way too sharp and scraped his foot peg on the ground and low sided. Thank God everyone survived, but :tp::tp::tp:with great reward comes an even greater risk. :race:

i lost 3 gen 1's in 6 yrs. 2 stolen, 1 i wrecked. last time i only got $10k. i was tired of gen 1's, couldn't afford a gen 2 and a much needed alarm.
found this 10 for a bit over $6k.

except for the comfort of the busa and the freeway power, it does all the busa can. and it's nice to have the same hp and 100 less lbs.
this thing turns a bit better, of course.
and insurance is only $40 a month
