GoAwol

Alright fellas...made it back safe and sound. I'd like to thank all of you for showing up (even though I know it was just for the Hooters!) It was great to see JustTight, Roc, D03, Punisher, Whitele, Webbashl, Apex, Steve1978, and a few other new faces. It's nice to sit down with good people in America...makes the 20 years worth it.

I been back but had a few drinks before logging on, good to see all the guys I had already met again, and nice meeting the ones I didnt know, got cold on the ride home, doesnt help when you going 90+ most of the trip either. Hope to see you all again soon

you got home pretty quick.
Actually, it was a smooth ride. Only went 10 over speed limit the whole time. Well, for the most part....

I even had a few tankslappers on the way home. Yep, I was so cold, my legs did not shiver, the were shaking. I had to make a pitstop at a gas station to warm up.. was inside talking on the phone and enjoying their warmth (temperature, not people).

Took 220 to 64 to 15-501. For awhile there on 64, I really had no idea where I was. Just kept riding hoping I could cut across to Durham. For awhile, I thought I would just have to hit Raleigh and then head to Durham. Kept thinking, worst case is 2 hour drive and I get home by 6:30. Glad that didn't happen, as I was getting cold...

Good to see you again D03...thanks for making the long trip up
