Going faster at Maxton may require drag chute

From what I read, conventional braking at Maxton was marginal for that 250 mph Hayabusa. A faster bike may need a drag chute to get stopped safely.
 
Nah,  at 250.006MPH, Lee Shierts aboard Rich Yancy's #8 Budweiser Turbo Busa was still able to stop long before the short turn out and if he had wanted to, could have used the additional 2000' to the long turnoout the cars use.
