gonna hurt

Wow this is insane.  I didn't say I was glad it happened.  I'm just tired of reading, " I was looking down..." or " I looked up...".  What are people doing on bikes.  I've been riding for over ten years, so I'm not inexperienced.  I've also been in a few accidents myself.  I just feel that riders need to be more proactive about driving defensively and driving smart.  Obviously the driver in the truck was at fault.  I can't take back what I said now so....  I retrospect I should have chosen my words more carefully.  Good luck healing and sorry for my insensitivity.
Hey, that's pretty big of you to step up like that. Miscommunications, or misinterpretations are gonna happen.

It takes integrity to step up and clarify a position, or statement.

Now that you explained your previous statement, I get where you are coming from. For the most part, I agree.

I have no problem accepting your apology. I'm sure many others feel the same.

By the way, even the most experienced and defensive riders can fall.

Most of us here treat the members of the org like family members. If they need encouraging, we encourage. If they need discipline, we offer it with a willingness to give it out. If they need defense, look out for an army.

It seems to be getting more and more dangerous out there on the road doesn't it? Or maybe we are just hearing about it more via the internet.

Stay vigilant people!!!

saw on the news the other day that due to fuel prices, a record # of NEW motorcylist will be hitting the road (no pun intended) this summer with the mindset of great fuel economy. here goes our reps & insureance rates. beware of a flood of squids and newbies. on the news cast, I guess they were at a suzuki shop... since they were focusing primarily on a nice gsx1k

sorry to get off track, glad you're ok!

Glad to see this is cleared up. I didn't mean to piss anyone off. I understand were everybody was coming from. Definitely a bad choice of words on my part.

Is there any word on finding the driver of the truck?
