Sucks about your experience. Don't write all dealerships off. Even different departments in the same store can be dramatically diff. I bought my Busa from the same place I bought the CB919 I traded in at. Six months later the old bike is still there. They loaded up into the thing to make a deal on the Busa...I literally stole it from them. Great sales staff but their service ain't too good. I asked them how much to change out the oem pads with some EBCs and they told me 2hrs labor which is almost $200. Their parts dept is awesome though. The dealer here closer to me the sales dept did not even want to talk to me when I rode up on the 919 and walked into the showroom, but the service dept was great. I asked them how much to swap the pads and they said $25 a caliper when would you like to do it ? I hung up, rode up and they did it in like 30 minutes. Perfect job. Shop around, there are many dealers out there. I had no real problem with either but go to both for diff things. Get that Busa now. They love cold air in their gullets...

Sorry it didn't work out as planned. I always take a picture of the VIN if it's not the one on the floor, and compare it when I do the paperwork. If it doesn't match I make them go find the one that does.

WAY better deals, got my new '07 in Feb 08 for 9200 OTD! I already saw my sales rep this past weekend and told him I'd be back in Feb '10 for his '09 Gix750!

i think i am gonna do just that. now i am open to any color. so, i don't mind waiting for 2010 models to come out to snag an '09.

Yeah you could go to the classifieds and check my Busa that is for sale. While it is not a "pristine" bike out of the box, it still is very nice and for a good price. Price is 8100. i agree. people are so different. the experience with different part of the same organization could substantially be different. i have been around the block to know that! :-)

i want the Busa! it's a matter of time i pull the trigger, again! i will post up, of course.

Bro- if your looking for a dealership that can work a deal check out Larson Cycle in Cambridge. I know its 1+ hour north drive for you, but honsetly its worth a shot. Let them know what you want and they can find it. I've worked out deals for a couple of friends back home.
