The sound byte does not do the exhaust proper justice it is a very sweet sounding pipe. Not annoying like many others out there. Very deep gargle..even deeper under power. Fit was a slight issue, nothing the dremel could not sort out. As far as a seat of the pants comparison. The Tsukigi Spec II Race puts way more torque and power to the rear tire under 6K than with the Akrapovic. This set up suits my riding style the best. On a 1-10 I rate this pipe an 11 in the performance department, 10 in build quality, 7 in fit within the fairings.
Sageronin took it for a ride as well today and might chime in. I am very pleased with the pipe, it does exactly what I thought it would, shifts the power curve back towards the middle right where I wanted it. It does that very well. With a re-map I expect things to only get better. Not bragging but the total package on this bike makes it one heck of a fun time no matter what you choose to do with it. Sage snapped this shot today. I am very pleased and that is not easy to do.
