Tsukigi Installtion HELP!!!

Already got a PM from Greg and I am lucky enough to be only 20 mins from Hyperbike. GPW and I will be talking tomorrow to see how this is going to work...stay tuned.

Thanks for the welcome and hope to have some pictures up after the install is complete as I have PCIII, BMC air filter, short stacks and the small air box mod to install as well.

Thank goodness for tax season.

Greg will get it done for ya.

I'm gonna have to keep my eye on this one. I ordered a Cannon system to put on my 2005 Gen I. I'm sure there is going to be some good info here to help me out with my install. Keep the pics coming!!

I am guessing we will have to adjust the mid bracket. I am guessing we will buzz off the bracket, hang the rest of the system and weld the bracket back on where it all lines up. It was a shot in the dark for a direct fit but just looking at the Gen II's tubing its larger than the Gen I version especially after the 2 into 1 pipes. We will get it sorted even if you have to bring the bike up this weekend. My welder is very good at fabrication.

It will work one way or another.

funny they use a support at all... the TiForce has an almost identical layout and they do not use any mounts at the mid pipe..

I am hoping we can just do away with it, I need to see it for myself though.
Seems a bit over engineered but you would know better than I... have there been failures of mounts or pipes on these with the Gen1 bikes?

I do know that the Tiforce does NOT clear the Gen1 fairing.. I let heat up, clearance itself out (so the fairing would close up again) and then put some heat wrap on the fairing..

Really appreciate the pics aswell Brendanp I will be installing my system next weekend. Tsukigi Spec-II Race full stainless with oval can

Update:

I have lost the battle of performing my own mods (exhaust, small airbox mod, velocity stacks and PCIII), so I have swallowed my pride hung up the tools and taken the bike to the professional in the area.

Loaded up and ready to go.
