And they ROCK!(omslaw @ Apr. 13 2007,17:07) Yup. 009 Ravens
noop! But I do have a Sylvania silverstar we can put in that bad boy of yours. Almost twice the light as the stock one.(boazalmighty @ Apr. 13 2007,13:10)(GSXcite @ Apr. 13 2007,09:12). We will be at the phillips room 103. We should have everything from spare tires, chemicals, light bulbs and spare parts, stands, tools and air.(ALLshow.NOgo @ Apr. 13 2007,08:38) Honestly the best trailer setup I've seen. Its like a workshop lol
how about spare HID's?
Go get you one Sonny. Just go in the backyard and dig up a few tin cans with the cash in them that you buried.(ks-waterbug @ Apr. 13 2007,14:01) Nice looking trailer Hal.... Man, would I love to have one of them.
Sonny, too bad you didn't take the busa with you to South Carolina. You could have come up for the busa bash! Take care, hope to see you in July.(ks-waterbug @ Apr. 15 2007,03:20) I made the April Cassoday run and then I wisked off to South Carolina.... been here ever since. I'm going to start looking for those cans ASAP!
I'm impressed! That trailer really held 4 cases of beer?(sccrvettel82 @ Apr. 15 2007,22:16) She held two sets of luggage, full set of tools, 4 cases of beer, one 2005 Red and Black Busa, one 2005 custom painted M50 (the M50 belongs to my buddy you see pictured above).
It is a Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland with the High OUtput 4.7 mild mods to it. Got roughly 4-7mpg the entire way down and back. If we got on some down hill grades or perfectly flat I could someitmes see 10-12 mpg on the highway. LOL. Also the stupid thing takes premium 91-93 octane only so that was fun. Spent almost $1,000 bucks in gas.
Truck pulls it well. I pulled a 14' enclosed to the bash last year with it and was able to run 70+ up the hills. The F150 is rated to pull right at 10,000 lbs. Loaded I'll be at around 8,000 I think. See you at the bash!(sccrvettel82 @ Apr. 16 2007,12:02) LOL. there still might be time to make a deal with someone on trade. LOL. Glad we brought the beer last time, stupid dry town. LOL
We stayed on the NC side and when we asked the hotel clerk about the local night life she said "Well, the Walmart across the street is open 24 hours, a lot of people go there. Oh yeah and we got a sonic down the road a ways".
We had to drive into GA or TN just to unwind with an adult beverage over dinner.
How well does that truck pull the trailer? I was able to hold 75 to 80 through the mountains fairly well.
Daym Bill, we miss riding with you bud. Hope you are able to get another bike soon. Take care.(billbell @ Apr. 16 2007,17:48) Nice set-up Hal! Hope you guys have fun and take plenty of pics for us Busaless folks!
No doubt you saw alot of stupid **** at the Daytona meet. Thats why I don't go to it. Lots of drinkin and riding/driving and such. I have hauled race car trailers for the better part of 35 years with no issues at all. The key to having a safe trip and arriving with all your stuff intact, is to make sure your trailer is loaded properly, weight is distributed evenly, you check your trailer before leaving to make sure tires are OK, brakes functioning properly, lights etc. I always leave plenty of room in front of me for the boneheads that want to cut you off or slam on the breaks and turn. I fully intend on me and my org buddies stuff getting to the Gap in the same condition as they left, and I take that responsibility very serious, but thanks for the word of caution.(tinbender0 @ Apr. 17 2007,10:55) be caerful with all the eggs in one basket!!! I saw one of those at Daytona biketoberfest laying on its side with bikes hangin out the back and on top of each other....But the truck was rolled over too, who knows what happenend!!!
