Thanks Hal.  I am having problems making ends meet right now.  Especially since my boy turns 16 in June.  Time to buy another cage I guess.
The time will come when you can make ends meet like a big dog, and get some toys for yourself again. I guess that is one advantage to having my kids when I was still a teenager

Now the trouble is I have a grandaughter who turned 16 last Sunday

I guess some people never grow up, thank God!

Hey Hal, do you have soap for semi's bike? It's going to leave a dirt trail on the floor you know!

How much room do you have in front of, between and behind the bikes..I'm thinking about a 16 footer a friend of mine was talking about today. But, I dont think I can get 4 bikes on like your 20 footer.

I'm sure Hal will jump in, too... I think if you went with a 16'-er, it would be tight fit for 4 bikes and gear. The 4 bikes would fit, but you wouldn't have much room left for other stuff.

If you look at one of the pics on the 1st page, you'll see a shot of the front of the trailer with the Baxleys sticking up; you'd lose all that room.

The way he has it setup right now is that stock busas will fit up front and there's a few inches gap for the bike in the rear. The rear bike...there's prolly a good foot or so from the rear of a stock busa to the back door.

I'm 5'8", 200# and can easily walk down the middle of the bikes (me turned sideways) with the mirrors folded in a little.

OMSLAW is right, you may be able to just fit 4 busas in a 16' trailer, but you wouldn't have room for much else. The back row on my trailer has an extra 10" because Boazalmighty's bike is stretched. I have about 6" spacing between the front and back row, and about 10" between the bikes. My trailer is 8' wide, so plenty of room on the sides. I first looked at a 16',but there was not much price difference between the 16' and the 18', and in fact the 20' was less expensive. If your not going to put tools, compressors and generators in your trailer, you could get by with a 16' but I would suggest you get one at least 7' wide.

I am fortunate enough to be able to go to the Meet and Greet for the first time thanks to HAL, he offered to give me a ride, Thanks Hal I am looking forward to meeting you and all others going.

How many KC area bus riders we got here?? Im from topeka and used to work out of grain valley. I will be up at smithers on May 10 to get a power commander and a tune. Ive got a turbo busa with a blk powdercoated frame and a spawn theme paint job.

There's GSXcite, Omslaw, KanjiBusa, Ninja Killer.

I also work with a guy who rides an '04 Black/Purple, but he's not on the board.

May 10th, eh? Perhaps we can hook-up with ya?

Tell Steve that Hal & Omar say hey...

Threadjack warning -

I'd be interested to hear how that goes - I have an appointment with Steve on the 25th.

Post up your results and impressions.

Oh, and post pics of the bike!

Threadjack over, you may now return to your previous topic.

Thanks!

ive done biz with him for a while now (since i turboed the bike) and he seems to be a really good guy. i can get parts a little bit cheaper with a local guy but only like 5 to 10percent. and here are pics of my monster mocked up after paint (its all done and assembled and has other mild things done now)

now the levers are powdercoated, gel seat, headlight is lense is no longer painted buy the chrome plastic piece inside the headlight is. i have mirrors on it (black powdercoated billet) umm.... i dunno what all else. lets just say its got ALOT of mods. there was a guy around here named hal awhile back that had a hahn turboed busa. but i think he lives out west a lil. Oh and sorry if i stole the spot light from the trailer. that is a nice trailer and i REALLY need to get a trailer and a full size truck. i have a drag car as well. but i just bought a house. and have a baby and a lil bro that live with me.

Some of that plastic patio grass would look cool on the floor . But it would clash with the red truck and trailer . Maybe some of that Rhino liner . But thank could get pricey . Something that you could wash off when it got dirty and still provided a degree of traction . Anyway , Very Nice setup .

Well we just got back from the bash and I have to tell you the trailer worked out great. Although it was unfortunate that MC Mustang went down, it was nice to have a clean dry space with plenty of light to put his bike back together so he could ride the next day. The trailer not only holds 4 busas, it can hold about 40 people as well! Everyone wanted to help with Shawn's bike!
