..no, I wasn't playing with the Gyra group, just those two members from it..

..but what you wrote is correct - it takes some years & dedication to it..


the fun part of the gigging act is ok, but the down part is equal or larger..

today, I feel sorry for those people who say "I play music" and all they mean is DJ'ing.. ..of course, there are ecxeptions where DJ's are VERY competent musical persons - especially in the "creative scratching dpt", like DJ Apollo from the Branford Marsalis Group etc..

Hey man, coming up on 1:42 seconds, this guy is tossing 2 balls with 1 hand. That part must of taken a ton of hours to perfect!

I used to DJ at some huge dance clubs in Washington DC. $100 buck an hour. I used to beat mix across 3 turn tables. It was a blast.
