Had to call the cops on a Busa owner Sunday

Making enemies in your neighborhood is never wise. I'd suggest not involving law enforcement except as a last resort. You see how easy and friendly it was to chat with the owner to resolve the issue. Would most likely have had the same effect with the brother as well.

The brother will never forget and if opportunity presents itself,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, well,,,,, you see what I mean!

Poor judgment in my view!

One of my neighbor's called the cops on me many years ago because I was doing a burnout in my driveway (I was breaking in a new rear tire). Cops came just warned me not to do it again. At the time the way I saw it, my house my property I do whatever I want to do so I did it again. Cops came again, there is no noise ordinance where I used to live and it was private property so not much they could do about it. Young people will do these types of things many times and will continue to do so for years to come. Now if someone does that in front of my house, I wouldn't feel sorry at all. My kids play out front and if they ever got hit, oh boy may God bless that soul.
Not knowing the local and state laws in your area; I would have pulled up and told you that we have had a complaint. At that point the person either says bump my neighbor or says alright I won't bother the neighbors. The younger folks in my neighborhood love my bike, but I've had a few say things like I know when you crank that thing  I really try to be good to my neighbors. If I had a Harley with straight pipes they probably wouldn't think bad of it.

It's sad but true. We have to concern ourselves with revenge these days, and if the license is suspended it's not a good sign. At least you don't live in North Charleston

One of the few pieces of advice i took from my dad when i was 15 and got my first car and was all ready to hot rod was never ever ever do anything in a neighborhood and especially your own.

I behave cause most of my neighbors are old and i dont want any drama with em, they're all great people we hang out and watch each others backs.

Then again i'm also the person that will step out infront of a speeding car when the kids in the neighborhood are out???

I live in Hanahan, we have North Charleston on 2 sides of us lol. Highest speed limit here is 45 and thats on the way out of town lol. The guy who owns the bike does not fault me at all. He understandsw why I called, The borther is a skinny scrawny little punk, I will eat him if I have to lol. Ever have skinny scrawny punk wrapped in bacon on the grill? Pretty tastey lol

Charles Manson is a skinny scrawny little punk!

Actually, most serial killers are skinny & scrawny! The most prolific serial killer in US history (Gary Ridgeway) is just a scrawny little guy.

Be afraid, be VERY AFRAID!

You did the right thing. He could have lost control and hit a kid, and killed him or another person/child. So you possibly saved a life. People need to learn that there is a time and place for everything. If he wants to be immature on the bike, then he deserves to receive corrective action. Good work good sir.

i wouldnt even let my brother ride my busa...and he has a gsxr1000 and a UFO mod vmax. and been rideing as long as me

How many threads have there been on this one forum about some hoon loosing control of his bike amd some bystander or kid paying for it. Wether he is on a Busa, Harley or hotrod he needs to take it somewhere else or be taken somewhere else either one works. The choice was his not yours

It sounds like the owner didn't tell his brother you came over and talked. And the fact that the brother waited until the owner left to play with the bike makes me think he wasn't supposed to be on it. I wouldn't feel bad, you were just concerned about safety. It's circumstances that they created themselves that got the bike towed and brother got arrested.

No need to involve them +100
