Happy Days are here again

Congratulations.....

The airline industry can be SOOOOOO fun.....lol

I was flying for an international carrier for seven years and would be furloughed for about six months out of every year, it absolutely sucks.

After going that long never knowing if I could relax and just enjoy life or to be fearful of the next furlough, I decided to pull the pin on them and go back to the dark side and fly helicopters. It has been TOTAL stability ever since, though I do miss the travel.

If things push you out of Atlanta and you would like to come west, drop me a note, I have friends working maintenance for a couple airlines out here, one works in the training department. Also, if you are interested in switching over to helicopters, I can hook you up with a pretty good position.

Good Luck

Wow that's a very long time to be in limbo ... glad you finally got some good news ... you've had some tough times.

I'm glad that weight is finally off of your shoulders. I'm sure the stress of the past year has been magnified by the fact you don't have a bike for those much needed "cycle therapy" sessions. Here's hoping all of the rest works out and you're back on two soon...

Good to hear, man. Financial stress can be one of the worst kinds, I think. Glad you've got things headed in a better direction now. I know it MUST be a huge relief.

Thanks again guys.
My realtor called me this afternoon and all is in writing and she has the earnest money in hand.  So it is offical.  The under contract sign goes up in the morning.

Congrats man, I will never complain about home stresses again...  11 1/2 months is scary...

Glad it worked out...
yeah it's been a long year of wondering why my house wasn't selling.  We had plenty of people come through it but no bites.  All I was getting for feedback was the house shows great and it's priced fair.  Never anything like this is wrong or that needs to be fixed.  It's been very frustrating.
if it makes you feel any better I've seen the same thing happen with cars/truck. Good car, good price, just all around good.. and it seems like everybody looks/drive and says... yeah it's nice. .. but it never goes anywhere..

sounds like you had the same experience we normally do.. don't give up, and eventually it'll be a home run! haha. Just gotta wait on the right person bro. All about patience.

Glad you moved it, now hopefully the job sit. works out the way you want it too.

Either way.. sounds like your back on top of the situation either way.

Awesome!  Awesome!!  Awesome!!!

Congrats and here's to brighter days ahead...

Congratulations on selling your house! I don't know the market in Atlanta but I'm a Realtor in PA... We had a property in my office once that stayed on the market for a year for NO REASON. It was a great house too... It is hard to explain to the seller why that is... Just glad it went for you!
