Hayabusa rebirth

hey hero i know its easy to wanna get out there in a hurry. But look at it this way bro....and keep this in mind.....you only get one chance on a bike...do you really wanna use your chance up on the most important safety item on the bike...the breaks? Take the time, specially if you have a buddy and do the break fluid and other safety things like tires. dont leave it to chance...you might only get one.

can anyone tell me how to get the gas cap off to seperate the mount ring it doesnt have the key. i have to take it to a lock smith to get a key made.

thanks krom. but can a stock exhaust be cut to a 4 in one?

Anyything is possible, if you have the tools and skills. No idea how the performance would be effected. Unless you are an experienced welder, I think you'd be better off saving your money for one that is tested and backed up by the manufacturer.

You can do it, but the biggest restriction in your bikes performance is that factory pipe. Save some change and keep your eye out for a system on ebay.

thanks guys, i just got done changing the spark plugs. I didnt have to buy a spark plug tool, i used the tools that:whistle: come in that lil bag we get with or BUSA. i connected a 9/16th socket it worked very well it was simple as 1,2,3

gunk and the fuel pump has brown gunk on it as well.

For sludge/gunk, I've used Muriatic acid or Kerosene, followed by sloshing around soapy water and then rinsing with distilled water, leave it out in the sun to dry for a day to so.

You could also take it to a place that rebuilds radiators and ask them to put it in their cleaning bath. (but that would probably damage the paint on the exterior)

If there is rust in the tank, kerosene and a pack of BBs or woodscrews. Just make sure they all come out.

ok thanks matt. for the fuel pump can i spray that bike cleaner on it that stuff u spray on and hose off? can i spray that in the tank to?

i dunno on the bike cleaner stuff....to be honest with you i would use sea foam to clean out the tank with...and the bbs sound like a good idea too....just be careful and make sure what ever you do get the water back out if you use water. Finally if i was you i would just order a new fuel pump...if its that srewed up you are going to have troubles with it down the road. As for the gas cap comming off..if you gvie the vin to the deaaler they can make you a key off the vin i think. dont quote me there. Then ya just bring the new key home and open it up...if the lock is screwed then it really doesnt matter you are going to have to replace it anyway jam a screw driver in there and force it open...then just get an after market screw in cap...way cooler anyway:)
