i agree it seems pretty centered... now i have to go through and pm all those intrested to double check the tread and confirm up availability of the date. i already know one is on duty till the 17th so might take that into consideration

The 22nd works for me cause i got a poker run on the 23rd! Man i get back from Iraq and i got nothing but miles to put on my bike!
So if you guys are going to do the 22nd i wouldn't have a problem going. And where is this college maybe 5 hours away?

State College is about 3 hours from me. Maybe I could get some floor space somehere if I couldn't make it back that night to home. Hate...just hate riding the forest areas at night. Too many deer and others that pop out. Let me know if someone has some crash space. Wardie

ok im doing some looking here...so far this is the list of those showing intrest and thier distances from state college pa

again... i need imput 2akro has a long ride of 5 hrs + vw me and red and wardie 3hrs + then denon jwest and suzuki all 2hrs + with rashad at about an hour. so everyone needs to put thier heads together... and let me know 1. is this acceptable to everyone 2. should those of us makeing longer runs make accomidations like wardie has suggested. 3. what is there to do around state college...let rashad and strom give us a tour?
4. all input is still up on the table we want to make it a fun meet and greets so help me out here

Well first of all i don't have a problem with it being that far but what is around where we would meet at? Cause i know after a 5 hour straight ride i might be a little bit tired. But then again i would be wanting to be riding back that night so im looking at a 12 hour ride in one day plus what we ride so im thinking i may not be able to do this one cause i also have on the 23rd a Poker Run which i have planned for now over 6 months. But Just my opinion I don't have to make it this time i promise i won't be heart broken i will make the other ones i can promise you that! But i will keep my eye on this thread

what route you thinking of takeing cause me and red and you can hook up and finnish the ride to and from if you comeing down 90. and im thinking the 15th. checking to see if it conflicts with anyone else

Theres a dealership by 322 and 26. They have a decent amount of bike and some good deals from what I have heard.

Theres also some nice mountain runs around with a couple switch backs. I don't know the area really well but maybe someone local can piece together a nice group ride around state college through the mountains.

My little bro lives in Erie, PA so, I could sleep over his house the night before and meet you guys somewhere close to Erie, or you could meet me there?
What's the "pace" like. I've been through some back roads in PA and they haven't been the greatest. Some of those roads require driving the actual speed limit. I always tell the guys that I ride with if they want to go fast in the twisties go to the track
other then that I like to cruise and take it easy when I'm in unfamiliar territory.

I've got to work on Saturday, Aug 15, and my Dads 70th Birthday is on the 16th. He's been in and out of the hospital the past few months, and I can't skip out on him (if you know what I mean). Please don't change plans on account of me...and be sure to post the pics from your weekend.

it will be areas i havent been at before so im not sure of the pace... red is within 15 of erie im within 30 so we can easily hook up with you to ride down

ok let me have a list who can only make it on the 15th and who can only make it on the 22nd and who can make both... just trying to fair it up for as many as possible so we can positively say wich date we are doing this
