Headphone recommendation

i went to radioshack and bought some over the ear headphones. Trick is to make sure they are rated at 108db. They cost under 10 bucks. I then broke them off the headset, put velcro on the backs and velcro in the helmet.
They stay in the helmet all the time. Small Ipod shuffle is mounted either inside the front of the helmet (in front of mouth) or on the outside back.
They turn up louder than I can handle. I have them in a Shoei x11. I have skull candy inkd earbuds too. Awesome at the gym, but not as good as my radioshack over the ear phones.
All wires are routed inside the helmet too. Nothing seen at all.

I have a set of those Sony's great, they fit inside the ear, just give them enough slack to compensate for putting on your helmet and head movement. I love them for $17 (on sale) I use them for cutting grass and when riding in my turbo'd 240sx, which currently has a broken head uniit and awful sound system.

Ended up ordering the Sena adapter to use with Skullcandys. Should be a big improvement over speakers but have to wait until I have time to test it.

I went to Walgreens and bought a pair of SkullCandies. Have not used them yet. The Sony`s work.

the sony's do work but they started to hurt my ears on long rides. for the money, skull kandy is a score.

first off get an "NOJ quiet rider" nylon cover that goes over the bottom opening of your helmet to block all the wind noise. 2nd. Goto Big ear Inc and look at some of their stuff.
Thats what I use and it's wonderful. (used to be a rep so the cost was right at the time)

agreed! i have been using a similar design for years out of the u.k. called the "windjammer 2". it kills a lot of wind noise which in turn probably makes my $15 skull candy sound that much better.
