I rode a GL1800 for 33K mi before I got my Busa and I used to fling the Wing around the twisties. The Busa feels like a frickin' toy in comparison.

After riding the Busa a while your confidence will build. I ride with a bunch of people with Gixxers, R1s Etc. i keep up with them just fine in the twisties. I did drop the back tire to a 180 (once i got my Ego out of the way. just the smaller tire bothered me lol) and it make it a bit more agile, noticable difference. the Little bit the lighter bikes might gain on me in the corners i make back up easily. so F them. AND to top it off after an hour there all cramped up and i'm still nice and comfortable.
