The gauntlet has been thrown... Devotion Vodka is now in second place and gaining fast. One of his Facebook posts shows his response to some folks calling him out for cheating and breaking the rules... (read below to find out what I'm talking about) His idle threats are in vain, because I am confident that our cause is worthy and I also happen to love a challenge. Please vote today (and once each day) to make our voices heard.

Let’s show him what a sleeping bear REALLY IS!

An HIV+ hemophiliac vs. the CEO of an alcohol producer/distributor trying to shamelessly plug his vodka. IMHO - One is a worthy cause that will raise awareness, spread hope, and inspire tens of thousands... The other... Not so much.

A few facts that have been shown to me:

1. Apparently someone posted on the Devotion Vodka (DV) FB page that they are asking their followers to cheat at the vote...
TRUE - The rules are very clear on this one... One vote per person, per day. I looked and he has repeatedly posted, "If you voted earlier today, you can vote again today." Also, he has followers who are posting ways to cheat, like: "You can vote twice daily on each of your accounts... And, if you have extra email addresses you can even vote more." Each of these posts are recognized and acknowledged by Devotion, because they "like" every one. Oops...

2. DV broke the rules by having alcohol in their entry photos...
TRUE - After reviewing the rules it stipulates absolutely no alcohol in the photos. Another oops...

3. DV is interested in this being a cover advertisement for their company...
TRUE - Again I glanced at their page and found, "Let's show Men's Health that Devotion Vodka belongs on the cover!" Things that make you go, "hmmmm..."

4. DV is offering free shirts and drinks to folks who vote...
TRUE - I'm not sure there is anything wrong with this, but it is true. And, that makes it much tougher to battle them, since I'm not offering things to my friends. However, like I said, I think this part is okay (if not a hair shameless).

I am not trying to run a smear campaign, and I do not want to get into a mudslinging contest with this guy. I actually respect each of the entries for different reasons. I simply wanted to get some facts cleared up, and ask for the community to back me in the honorable fashion... By voting!

Yeah, we were overtaken last night. The leader is the CEO of a vodka company and has posted that he wants to cover for his vodka company. He is also asking his followers to cheat the vote, and they've posted how to do it. I am adamant that my voters follow the rules and only vote once per day.
