My disability is invisible. As a matter of fact, I hid it for a quarter century because my family was threatened and neighbors called claiming they would burn our house down if we didn't move out... I feared for my life... I feared for my job... I feared for my friends and family being picked on too... But somehow... I persevered... I survived... I thrived! Now, I am in the best shape of my life, defying the odds. As an HIV+ hemophiliac I am coming out in a big way and competing to become the first-ever HIV+ man on the cover of Men's Health magazine. Also, the first hemophiliac on the cover. Please help support our cause and work with us to literally inspire MILLIONS!

Such a shame that back then things were so different for so many...aren't you, no, aren't we all so glad views on people suffering with this disease have changed so much? I know I am. I'm thankful my children are not growing up in a world where you pass judgment on someone based on something like having HIV because as a child in the 80's, when it was making headlines, I remember how people were treated. It's just a damn shame and something no one should ever be proud of if they took part.

Voting every day Vaughn!! Hoping to say I know that guy on the cover!! And I'm so happy for you and your family that you can enjoy your life and that you've worked so hard to thrive like you do...

It looks like MH temporarily pulled his entry while they are deciding what to do with his breech of a few rules. This is good and bad... His vote count is still growing, because folks can vote for him, despite it not showing on the leaderboard. So, if they decide to keep him in, he will pop in with an equal amount of votes as us...
