Help Busa not that fast something wrong!!

What is a Troll mean?Troll as in the monster or I don't know how to ride? Please explain. One gentleman here wrote me about the first gear reving but barley catching that is what my bike does but in all gears. I bought it to dealer he said it was fine. And said maybe I should take a riders course for the bike. I don't ride great but I can ride really fast. I guess I was expecting more out of bike. I did get it up to around 115mph once but bike started to shake a little so I got afraid. I don't know how much more gas I could have gave it. I can never pick tire up in first gear maybe second. Any other suggestions? This is not first time I been beat My friend has a 650 Honda Hawk that passed me on the highway doing like 120mph his bike runs really great has jet kit, pipes.

Yer a good man, Pace. I'll be workin on her slowly but surely. I can't wait to ride again, but it's really takin it's toll on me.

Kinda like when yer hungy and you don't eat for awhile. Pretty soon, you're not so hungry anymore, but you can definitely feel somethin lackin. After awhile again, you start to feel hungry.

I'm kinda in the stage where I've been hungry for so long and now I'm starting to lose my appetite. It'll be alright inna while...I just gotta stay strong and focused.

General info---With my GPS a couple of years ago----stock Busa will do 83 in 1st...second forgot---third though---AAAHH 129 true---and in 5th---HaHa 176 true Gps------at a true 10,800 revs even though the the tach said 11,200.
Semi stock HD's any one... Not a chance. But we have to admit---a fully modded HD can [Rock] right along beside us too..sad but true but i am good with that----speed is speed no matter what brand... I saw a rocki'n Hd at Sac drags a long time go in the 8's on Gas. Oh do i dare say it sounded cool too-the thing was all over the track but made a clean pass. Cache? Love it hear and blitzt to boot.

hello all this is my first Posting one this site maybe some of you can help me? I have owned my Busa for about 6 months it is my second bike a have owned, my first was an 1100 Honda Shadow. I purchased the bike because I read many articles on it, handling, speed ,comfort but now that I have put 5,000 miles on it and I'm not that impressed . My question is is it possible I bought a slower one(bad one)not that it is slow but for being one of the fastest stock bikes mine is not that fast. I raced my brothers Harley Wide Glide and I just beat him about 2 bike lenghts does that sound right?  My 1100 didnt seems to be much slower and handling about the same. As far as comfort my 1100 was much more comfortable. I like to hear your thoughts and opinions. I'm new to this site just not happy with Busa!
Why are we even talking to this guy? He's obviously full of crap, a sorry ass rider or both. Either way, who cares!

Why try to help this idiot!

Is there anybody.......OUT THERE?!

C'mon guys... lighten up.
I want to believe him because when I first rode the bike out of the dealership I was extremely disappointed... I only rode it for about 1 or 2 miles before I realized there was something wrong... The A-holes at the dealership didn't assemble the clutch lever correctly. It was ridiculous... if I was going at about 3,000 rpms, and pegged it, it would rev up, but the bike wouldn't accelerate... it felt as if the clutch was partially engaged.
Anyways, my advice: Take it to the dealership and tell them that ever since you bought the bike, it's been really slow. It feels as if the clutch was ALWAYS partially engaged... One of the mechanics took it for a test ride and immediatly realized that there was something wrong. A properly working busa WILL ALWAYS lift the front wheel in first if you open the throttle all the way...

Why do some think I'm this trouble maker. This is the first forum I have ever been on and I came here for help since dealership really won't help. Only one that is helping me is BusaMan. Really my Busa is not that fast from how you people describe it and magazines say it is suppose to blow you off the seat. Mine does not do that. 3 others have rode my bike and feel it is not all that fast. I will try dealership one more time. But I'm still looking for reasons to tell the dealership when I bring it in. I don't want to give Busa a bad name but my friends think it is a farse and all hype I keep telling them no it is suppose to go faster than what it does something wrong with bike! All Harley guys were laughing at the bike about 1 month ago saying that is the fastest bike in the world? Go buy a Harley and get your money back. I don't want a Harley. Help!

Dude people are crying Bullshid because we allways get folks coming here sying this and that about the Busa because they are pencil #### haters and have NEVER touched a Busa... So we all tend to be skeptical.

The fact that you have had it for 6-months and are just now complaining or getting around to a board is also suspicious... So everyone tends to assume TROLL... As in Trolling for a response.

What Dealer did you buy it from and When?

Where are you at in St. Pete?

Reason I ask is there are a fair number of busa riders here in the Tampa area, meet up with one of us, let us take your Busa around the block once and we will be able to tell you instantly and without error if something is WRONG with your Busa, or if it's something your not doing. Like actually using the throttle...

Would only take about 2 minutes...

Oh and the 115MPH and bike starts shaking? That's prolly what really did it... Have to cry BS. Sounds like a Harley to me, NOT a Busa. If it's shaking it's your inputs causing it more than likely. Busa's NEVER shake when properly ridden even up around 180 or so, they just don't.

If your barely beating a fuggin POS Wide Glide? Your Busa IS broken, firing on 2 cylinders with no Air in the tires, and an anchor banging along behind ya. Is it possible you left a disc lock on the rear maybe?

OK OK, If your really needing help,

PM myself or one of the other Tampa area folks, we'll get you squared away.

Sounds like the guy is either a troll or his Busa has a 250cc instead of a 1300cc engine in it. All I know is every bike up where I live has got nothing on me. And that's with me keeping it under 7K. I'll actually wake up when a ZX-10R will pull up beside me, then it's on. But it does sound like forceofone needs to learn to properly operate a Busa.

Hey rev, you forgot the part about not bein' a great rider but bein' able to ride really fast... That was what sealed the deal for me. Yeah, "I don't ride great but I can ride really fast!" Um... yeah... woot!
biggrin.gif

I'll say this. The guy may be legit as far as a problem busa, but he's really makin' a poser out of himself in this thread.

Dude, if yer for real, we're all about helpin' folks out here. It's just that you appear to be talkin' out yer arse here. Wouldn't be the first troll to come in and post crap like this. Prolly wouldn't be the last...

I say if yer serious then take Rev up on meetin' up with ya and let him see if you have a problem busa. You can trust Rev to shoot you straight. I'd trust him with everything but my girl.
biggrin.gif

So, basically what I'm sayin', and what I think Rev was implyin' is this... Put up or shut up... in a nice way of course.
wink.gif
You've got help offered up to you. If you're serious and want help, hit Rev up. If not, then I'm inclined to believe yer just a troll. Ball is in yer court.

I'm telling ya, if you're trying to accelerate really hard, and the bike is just reving up and NOT accelerating, it's the way the clutch system was assembled. In any vehicle, car or bike, if you open the throttle all the way as fast as possible, it should not rev up too fast without acceleration. If this is the case, then it seems like the clutch is slipping. Also, if you are at a full stop and in first gear (with the clutch pulled in), does it seem like the "friction zone" of the clutch is really far away? Meaning that you have to let the clutch lever out a great deal before the bike starts grabing?

Here's a picture of my busa... see the Red Circle on the clutch lever? Roll up the rubber covering and inspect that area closely in you're bike. You might be able to see what is wrong easily. When I took my bike back to the dealer because it wasn't accelerating the way it was supposed to, the mechanic did something in that area... took him 2 seconds and it was fixed. He said something about some cylinder not being inserted correctly....

By the way guys... If you have nothing productive to say, don't say anything. I understand that we get many "Trolls" here, but if that's the case, just ignore the post... you don't have to reply to EVERY post... As for me... Even if this was a Troll, I haven't lost anything in spending a couple of minutes of my life possibly helping someone...
I had a problem similar to this when I got my busa, so if anything I've posted helps him, then that's great. And if not... oh well...
But I do think that you guys are being overly hostile towards him. If you want to help, that's great. Post any ideas you have as to why his bike is underperforming... if not, then just ignore this thread and go congratulate JKJsBUSA on his new busa... Just my 2 cents...
Let's keep this board a friendly place
