Help Busa not that fast something wrong!!

Hey rev, you forgot the part about not bein' a great rider but bein' able to ride really fast... That was what sealed the deal for me. Yeah, "I don't ride great but I can ride really fast!" Um... yeah... woot!
biggrin.gif
He does ride fast, he got up to 115 mph once!

I mean come on, how many people have done that?!

No one is being hostile...He's just being roasted for the fact that he appears to be a troll...If you want to continue to give earnest info and feel that your partner is being persecuted in this thread then maybe you should not come to the thread where you have to veiw this inhumane treatment...You could email or PM the troll...

Later today someone is probably gonna call for a head chopping...Maybe a hickory stick...How about an electric cord...

Yeah, busaman. Ya see, this site does take pride in helpin' those in need, and not just in need of ridin' skills, bro. The thing is, the membership here also takes pride in the fact that they membership as a whole does NOT tolerate trolling and bullshid. If there's a chance someone is trollin' or posin' and talkin' big shid they get called out. If they prove they are legit they get welcomed to the fold and loved, cuddled, helped, and petted when necessary. Until they pass the test though, they are not deserving of the trust that this board gives proven members.

I've dealt with numerous people from here on busa parts. I've sent stuff to folks and let them send me payment whenever. I've had folks send me parts and let me send payment whenever. There is a trust between most of the established members here that I haven't seen on many other forums. It's tight knit as Hell... One reason for that is the fact that posers and trolls don't usually last very long. Most folks who remain here and prove themselves become a part of the fold and get taken care of in ways you wouldn't believe when they're in need.

So, I say as long as it doesn't get way out of reason, let the roastin' of the suspected trolls and posers continue. I don't like the idea that we might unknowingly weed out someone in error, but I also don't like the idea of a "live and let live" theory on this either. If trolls aren't put in check they can absolutely ruin a board. I've seen it happen. If a little roastin' and half humorous pokin' helps reveal the true trolls and losers from the ones worth welcoming in then I'm all for it...

BT, honestly I don't think this guy is trying to start shid in this board... He's been very polite, and his "busa problems" seem reasonable to me because I dealt with something similar. Also, I am guessing that by the way he writes, English isn't his first language, so some of the things he said might have come out wrong. Keeping in mind that this is the "internet" and all, I don't take the things said here to heart. I've had pretty good experiences with this board, gotten great advice, gotten some good laughs, etc and I agree that we should keep flamers out, but this guy has only posted 2 or 3 times, and hasn't done anything "radical"...
Anyways... I think this thread is done... I don't really wanna keep pushing anything.... If he IS legit and wants help, he can PM me, if not, I don't see the need to keep flamin' and pushing this subject (unless you guys want too... if that's the case, knock yer selves out). As for me, I'm the quiet type
tounge.gif

Oh, and one more thing, I think it's great that we can trust members here so much... I could never picture myself sending stuff to someone else I "met" on the internet before receiving paymet... It's cool though...

Sorry. have to cry BS.

If this person has a Busa and is on the up and up, then the laws of nature and normal occurrence of events have failed miserably.

Natural selection has failed.

The DMV has failed by issuing a license

The dealership failed by selling him a Busa.

His friends (the ones he knows personally who have supposedly ridden his bike) have failed him.

And with his seemingly lack of knowledge in regards to the Busa and its abilities, if he is on the up and up, he needs to sell the bike, someone who is riding or operating something they know nothing about is going to hurt themselves.

I did months of research on the Busa along with other motorcycles before I purchased my Busa. I knew a great deal about it before I ever left the dealership. I knew what its abilities were.

Any motorcycle can be very dangerous as we all know, and even more so the Busa because of its stability at high speeds can give you a false sense of security.

No one should ever go out and purchase a Busa without doing research on it first. Actually no one should by ANY motorcycle without thoroughly researching it first.

Anyone capable of riding a Busa without killing themselves would have the ability to answer the question he asked himself. He would not have to come to a board to ask if there is something wrong

So this guy is either a troll, or if he is 100% truthful, for his own good and safety he needs to park the Busa and sell it.

Thing is Busaman Trolls are frequently pretty subtle, pretty "Innocent" looking. They want to quietly slam something they don't understand or don't like and they saound JUST LIKE this guy. Now it's unfortunate that this guys thread sounds like it does and that his story simply doesn't add up, but here it is. So while it's possible he is on the UpNUp it's unlikely based on the number of similar Trolling we've seen here. Too many things not adding up.

Either way I have offered him the services of any number of Tampa/Clearwater/St. Pete folks... He can PM us and get some real help if he's legit. But I am 90% certain based on what has been said he prolly has never even touched a Busa.

It must be in "fng" mode. Little switch under the seat that cuts out 2 cyl for new user safety. (lol) Or, he may have bought one of the "nautical" models, check to see if anchor has inadvertantly deployed. I, personally, embarrassed a dude on his super duper some sorta modded supercharged hardley so bad they still talk about it around here at bikey night. None of the bad hardley group will even talk to me. Can't even get a sneer out of them....

I'll say this. The guy may be legit as far as a problem busa, but he's really makin' a poser out of himself in this thread.

Dude, if yer for real, we're all about helpin' folks out here. It's just that you appear to be talkin' out yer arse here. Wouldn't be the first troll to come in and post crap like this. Prolly wouldn't be the last...

I say if yer serious then take Rev up on meetin' up with ya and let him see if you have a problem busa. You can trust Rev to shoot you straight. I'd trust him with everything but my girl.
biggrin.gif

So, basically what I'm sayin', and what I think Rev was implyin' is this... Put up or shut up... in a nice way of course.
wink.gif
You've got help offered up to you. If you're serious and want help, hit Rev up. If not, then I'm inclined to believe yer just a troll. Ball is in yer court.

You know BT post like this is why I'm glad you stick around. You will always be welcome here as far as I'm concerned no matter what bike you own.

If this is really true I will even show you how to ride the Busa to it's full extent when I get to FL. at the end of December...

I have owned my Busa for about 6 months.

I purchased the bike because I read many articles on it, handling, speed ,comfort but now that I have put 5,000 miles on it and I'm not that impressed .

I raced my brothers Harley Wide Glide and I just beat him about 2 bike lenghts
OK, It's been suggested that we be "nice" as you're new to the board etc.

First of all, read some articles on the Wide Glide and I'm pretty sure they will prove there's a problem with your bike if they include such things as 0-60, standing quarter mile times etc.

A 'Busa should smoke a Wide Glide. If you only got 2 bike lengths on your brother then either (a) your engine wasn't switched on (b) your clutch wasn't engaged or © you had both brakes applied.

I think the stock WG has about 80hp and weighs over 600lbs, your bike should have almost twice that hp and less weight. Do the math.

Busaman,

I have appointment with the dealership this week. I call him on the phone and told him that something can be wrong with my clutch slipping and it is getting worse. My bike is doing exactly what you said happened to yours when you first got it. It revs but engine hasitates. I don't think my friends who ride don't know the problem because they ride cruisers or Harleys I'm only one with Hayabusa or any sport bike. Maybe my typing is hard to read because I'm from Germany and only been in country 8 years now. Thank You for helping me I will tell you what happens when I bring bike to mechanic what he says.
PS Is this a Motorcycle Club because everyone seems to know eachother and have a good time. I just needed some help hope I didn't make anyone really mad just was told about site by my wife so I thought i give it a try.

BulletTrain,

I'm sorry if I made you mad I'm not a monster causing trouble just needed some help with my Hayabusa. I'm a bit confused I don't know if this is a Motorcycle Club and everyones knows eachother I was told it was forum? My wife is really good with computer and told me to ask questions here they can probally help. My English is bad because I'm from Germany I promise you that I speak very proper in my home country and very successful. I take a lot of joking from my workers at work because they call me the "Terminator" They do work very hard though so I let them kid the boss. I guess I do look like Arnold a little because I workout couple of times a week but I'm not as ripped as he was when he was competitions in Europe. You all seem like nice guys having some fun.Thank You
