circa '88...
Top: My niece riding my R.I.P. 168lb Male Rotty "Kodi" Bottom: My '86 Honda Nighthawk "S" Model...(back when Hawks were HAWKS! (it's the one i miss 2nd most)
circa '89...and my most poorly thought through motorcycle purchasing decision ever...a brand new '89 Goldwing...don't miss it at all.
circa '99....and "THE ONE" i miss the most....my early release '00 ZRX1100...The Rex was a Naked Bike that truely was "Tuned For Torque"...it had spirit and soul to spare...as did the folks who bought and rode them...ultra hardcore..bothe the bikes and their owners...( i usta make fork braces and motor mount kits for'em)
circa '01....Flew one way from FL to NJ to buy this one and rode it home...my '01 FZ1 affectionately known as "Blacky"...yami's "Naked Entry"...R1 Based Engine...a 'lil huffy under 4Krpms but real high strung up top...had mine turn'in 138rwhp & 78ftlbs...(and uh..my youngest rachel and me uhem...before i lost 50lbs)
but poor "Blacky" usta move that extra 50lbs of me along pretty good!
and here's the one i hope i NEVER miss...and if i do?...it will be "The Most"...

02' Warrior, it had way more chrome and billet parts and different exhaust on when I sold it. The last pics and goodbye shots on the new owners trailer are on my laptop... Before the Warrior was an 02' Bandit 1200 naked not the S model, Jet kit, timing advancer, exhaust etc...
) Not a great pic but this is my 1985 GS1150ES. Bought it new and rode it 20 years before I got the Busa and sold it.
'73 Triumph Trident straight off the drag strips around Memphis...took off the NOS, drag windshield and wheelie bars, changed the seat and handlebars and put it on the street...it was a monster to keep running but when it did it definitely surprised people

It was awful tough parting ways with her! I rode it to Laguna in 1988 solo. One of my fondest MC memories of all time! There was very little left stock on it when it was sold.(mzrsq @ Jan. 02 2007,19:53)That would have been a KEEPER, especially after 20.(bigoltool @ Jan. 02 2007,22) Not a great pic but this is my 1985 GS1150ES. Bought it new and rode it 20 years before I got the Busa and sold it.

Enjoyed all of them at the times I owned them with the exception of the Virago. It was a comfortable cruiser, but kinda a dog. I was still figuring out what type of bike I enjoyed the most, though, and got it dirt cheap.
