High Gas Prices!  Have you considered a Hybrid?

Many  good, practical , lower priced , hi- fuel mileage cars has been offered to USA consumers in the past .

Problem was the Fiesta , GEO Metro ect ect was only brought about due to Corporate Average Fuel Economy

It was not  voluntary by the auto makers per se' as there were penalties that had to be paid when not met .

I know it's a free country yada yada and even if all cars in the USA for the last 30years had been the little critters , at some point in time we would have got to where we're at now anyway .

Gas companies - auto makers . I think some worry about the snake in the garden when there are spiders in the bed .
 
MEH, I've just quit looking.  You figure that the higher gas prices might cost me a $3-6K over the next year or so.  That sucks, but it's hardly newsworthy, so yeah...

Not to mention that I now have 3 machines in the garage that all require Premium Unleaded so I'm really not trying to be looking at the price of gas...

Though I did intentionally stop at $66.60 cents tonight.
