Dear Santa:

I have neither needs nor wants which I cannot tend to myself. As you're well aware, I am truly blessed.

Regardless, I still have a wish...I know it may sound greedy, but I cannot help that. Sorry.

What I want is for all my less fortunate friends to have their best year ever in '08. So, if you'd please help them get off their lazy A$$es and help themselves, then I'd have the best Christmas ever!

I don't have a good recommendation for you on where to even START with this one, so you're on your own.

I know this request may seem sappy or cheezy or whatever, but some of the best things on earth come from sap and cheese.

While there is no NEED for you to stop by, as I have asked for nothing, I will be honored if you'd find the time to rest here, to warm your toes by the fire. Your usual Captain Morgan Spiced Rum and Diet Coke will be waiting for you with the bag of pretzels and ranch/onion dip...just the way you like it. No need to do the dishes again this year. I'll take care of that myself.

Best wishes to you and the reindeer on your annual trek.

And oh...thanks for taking care of my friends.

My lil girl (6 yo) has been very good this year, even doing well in French (on a side note WHY French)
My BIG boy (3 yo) has been very........................ well lets just say he's 3! But none the less good.

The only thing I would like to ask for is that they continue to grow, be healthy, and stay out of trouble!

I'd like to turn the tides here...Christmas may mean different things to different people, but for many, it is still about giving...

I'd like to toss a name out there, someone that deserves a little something extra for being good, for facing some challenges as of late and for showing the rest of us how to truly cope with difficulties in life...Kevin (vman1300) not only deserves some extra thoughts and prayers, but maybe something special in his stocking this year...and his wife deserves a bit of Christmas cheer as well. Both in my thoughts every day!!

I really dont know what to say, yes it has been a rather difficult year in Casa de Vman but I never what people to think I am on a pity party.

Cancer smancer is what I got to say about it and I make chemo look good!

My nomination, would be two fold. Pick a few service men and women and show some .oRg love to them. Without them protecting our RIGHT to be FREE, where would we be? God Bless all of you!

2nd, I am sure there are people that have kids that may not be able to provide gifts for them. Imagine the feeling of knowing that we were able to make a kid or kids smile on Christmas Day......

That's because Shawn is a Marine. Marines do the Toys for Tots so they get to work with Santa on a regular basis
