It is not a term of endearment...I find it offensive. Kind of
like using the "N" word. Maybe it's just me, but why would
you want to be associated with this word ???

Didn't know what it meant, never used it myself. Read the definition most people who conduct themselves in that manner are usually referred to with some words in a derogatory manner. Seems they just use a different one in Australia
And the "N" word is a racial slur an insult there are many different words for different races and I can understand someone being offended by the use or reference of those words.
