I dont know about her... but my senior yr I was 18 and I had a 22yr old math teacher that just graduated from Bowling Green... I tried every day to get her to go out with me lol Never Worked

I didnt read any of the above comments so excuse me if I state something that has already been said.
1) If a male teacher were to have done this with a 16 year old student, EVERYONE would be calling the guy a pedifile, a pervert a sick individual. But since it was a female teacher and a 16 year old male, for some reason that concept goes out the window. and I am not really sure why, because a 16 year old females hormones are not even close to that of a male, I am not saying it is right but if a 16 year old girl has sex with an adult, she knows what she is doing for the most part (yes I know all cases are differant, but if it is consensual she knows what she is doing)
but male hormones are so high at 16 years of age it is easy for anyone to take advantage of a 16 year old male.
Heck when I was 16 if it moved and breathed that was all that mattered (moving was kind of optional and breathing. well wasnt a major concern either
So yeah, why the double standards, a female teacher should get hammered just as much as a male teacher would.
2) If that were my son I would be out for blood. there is a certain amount of trust given to teachers, male and female. if a teacher EVER crosses that boundery they should get hammered.

It does send a message to kids though. The boys get the *wink, wink, nod, nod* about underage sex, underage girls get the "TRAMP" sticker plastered on their forehead. Both are getting taken advantage of but the girls problems are more overt and immediate than the boys. Boys grow up thinking that the rules regarding sex don't apply to them. That baggage always follows them into a relationship, especially marriage.
The rules need to be applied fairly and evenly. What a male creep gets for doing it with a 15 year old girl should be given to the female perv.
As far as "boundaries", it's no different with a psychiatrist that sleeps with a patient or a doctor that hits on a patient. It's about trust and doing the right thing.

My wife and I talked about this while cooking dinner last night. So I asked her how she would react if this happened with our 15 year old son. She said she would call the cops immediately and have the b!tch thrown in jail.
