I just sold my ST1300 and had a Repsol CBR1000RR before that, do y'all figure the Busa would be somewhere in the midle of these two for comfort? My '09 silver should be here soon...

With my 6'3" lenght I find the Busa very comfy.
You will however have to change the screen,
See forum on ZG Sports screen and Puig DB screen.
Otherwise you will love your Busa.

:welcome: to the oRg. I have not owned the ST1300 or Repsol, but I can tell ya that I'm an old fart and IMHO the Busa is extremely comfy. I have done a great number of iron butt type rides and enjoyed them. The only thing that ever bothered me was the cold on my hands and that comes down to good gear.

Well, I figured the riding position has to better than a CBR, right? I also posted about a set of Heli bars, anyone run 'em? Thanks y'all!

Hey many thanks for all the welcome's, makes me feel all warm & fuzzy! Not nearly as fuzzy as the new Busa will though I'm sure!

Helibars are great! Just enough rise to make the bike a touring machine without sitting you up too much.

Imagine sitting in your favorite chair as you gaze upon your favorite show on TV your feet up with a nice pair of warm fuzzy socks and a nice cool beverage in your hand while your wife / girlfriend or both run their hands through your hair ( if you have any ) a cool soothing breeze from a ceiling fan as you gently doze off to sleep, NOW IMAGINE THAT CHAIR DOING 190 MPH.

I just went from my 1000RR to the Busa and I love the Busa for sport touring. I have done around 600+ miles in one day with no problems... I went from El Paso,TX to Colorado Springs Co. in one day... The seat sucks (get a tobin, mustang, corbin), get a double bubble windscreen and you should be good.

P.S. Adjust the suspension if you want it to ride like the 1000RR
