Standing 5'8" tall and I tipped the scales at 151 this morning. I'm chasing my MEPS in processing weight of 150 back in 1983.

Im 6' 1" and about 250lbs. I was 290 a few years ago when I played semi pro football. but I cant ever be that big again. I will be happy when Im a cool 220.

I'm 6'0" and 209, lost 20 lbs after a heart attack. I am on a no-fat diet now. You all would be surprised how easy it is to go no fat. Fatty foods make wretch now...........................

Ron

Fat doesn't cause heart attacks. That's like saying eating carrots makes you into a carrot.

I am on a 70% fat diet. It's called Keto. As long as your ratios are correct, you will likely find keto is the best way to lose weight. It's similar to atkins, and is used medically for some people who suffer from seizures.

If you go no carb + low fat, your body can generate sugar (carbs), defeating the purpose. With enough fat, you go into ketosis (hence the name keto) and your body will burn the fat stores.

If you're on reddit, you'll find most of the people doing well with their weight loss using keto.

Prior to keto, I've never been able to lose weight. My first attempt on keto - I dropped from 265 down to 218 in a period of 3 months or so. It took almost 3 weeks before I saw any weight loss and I was actually close to quitting the diet. It's really not hard to stay on the diet because you're not starving yourself. It's mostly just avoiding carbs (under 30 grams/day) and eating enough fat to keep the ratios correct. I do bacon, eggs and cheese in the morning. Many people do something called bulletproof coffee, but you can do it with tea and other drinks too. The idea is to get fat anyway you can, including the drinks.

6'4" tall at around 290lbs dressed. Looking to drop about 30-40 so I can get back to beefcake weight. Growing my beard until that happens. Will shave once I have a flat stomach and at least a pair of abs showing.
