How is Busa in Corners and Busa Pricing?

Congrats!!!!

You'll find the weight of the busa will help in cornering and be more forgiving in load changes etc.

You will need to bring the bike over more then a lighter bike to compensate for the size and weight, but that just increases the joy in a slower paced ride.

As for the cowl; I cut out the center of the bottom support so I could increase my trunk space... just an idea.

Welcome.

It should come with the cowl. Sounds like the original owner, or the dealer, sold it off to someone else. Keep an eye on Fleebay and the org classifieds to find another.

Welcome!

Cool bike, cool wheels too!

Dont let it fool ya with its size, it is a GSXR at heart and will do more than you'll trust it to.

Ride Safe and never take it for granted!

Cool glad to here that you got one.

Congrats!

You have a bike their that has been lowered in the rear. Don't let the lack of ground clearance fool you. It is just the way it is set-up right now. If you want it to handle, you have to get that rear back up to at least stock height.

Congrats again, and welcome to the addiction

I'd definitely chose the busa unless you have aspirations of track riding. I bought a seperate bike to scratch that itch as I prefer the busa on the street.

:welcome:to Busa world. You are about to enter into a place of time and space, ohhh wait a minute that's the Twilight Zone.

Not sure if it matters to you. But the front wheel has one of the rotors taking off to see the stock chrome rim better. You might think about getting one put back on.

I don't know that a CBR1000 or R1 would be more comfortable than a busa. I suspect they'd be much less comfortable if you're taller than 5'10 or so.

Buy or Sell New and Used Motorcycles - CycleTrader.com should help you with what people are asking for bikes of this type in your area. With the economy in the condition it's in, it's a buyer's market...though with all that Wal-Mart money flowing your direction, local conditions may vary.

I miss N.W. Arkansas. Have some Penguin Ed's for me.

Oh yeah... :welcome: !

Man, you brought back some memories for me on the Penguin Ed's. They have some of the best BBQ. I miss the area too. I look forward to moving back in the next couple of years. I went to college at UofA.

Now, I am looking for a Rear Seat cover / cowl - since the bike does not come with one...if anyone knows where I can find a good deal on one. BTW, I traded my 2000 CBR600 F4 plus $4000 cash - hopefully that was a good deal. Felt good for me. I was not quite sure of the color at first, but it should grow on me. The 2007 Black one was a lot more money. I pick it up on Monday
Congrats, I saw both of those bikes in Jonesboro. :beerchug:

Congrats and welcome to the club!

:beerchug:

You made the right choice.

Remember: Respect the throttle; you have nothing to prove to anyone except yourself (so take your time), and the greatest lesson on a 'busa is one of restraint.

Oh, yeah...about cornering? Here's a short video for your entertainment. It's two Gen2 'busa pilots...

It should also be mentioned (since you're new) that Lamb likes to refer to Lamb in the 3rd person, unlike Lycan who never partakes in that type approach, he just sits back and lets Lycan do what Lycan does...:welcome:

Que chistoso!

Mine likes to corner  & yes get that front rotor back on.

Any bike is only going to be as good as the rider. I have an 08 and it handles the curves just as well as any bike I have owned.
