How long did you Lurk?

Just curious on how long people lurked around before they created an account and why did it take so long?

I looked around for a while. I also wasn't sure about how welcoming the community would be. I finally decided to create an account and post once I had questions. I admit I am not on much when I am stateside but when I am deployed it is a daily ritual to be on here!

About 1 week, maybe. Joined the first week of january, didn't get the busa until end of march. By then I knew enough to post pictures.

Almost a year, I was Busa-less and suffering from envy.

I didn't wait at all to create an account because I wanted to be able to see all the pics. One week later I bought a new 08 Busa, and my first post was a thread about it.

That was 2.5 years ago and you still haven't gotten rid of me.

Bought BUSA in 05 . My buddy Kent told me about site in 05 I logged on and read a few things...I was just moving so much that I didn't become active til thus year...prob more cuz I am settled down a bit...so took me 6yrs. Probably logged on 5 times over 6 yrs. I wish I hadn't waited so long to really check it out and get to know some of you...AWESOME SITE! FEELS LIKE HOME! THANKS CAPTAIN!

I think i lurked for about 1 day to get a feel for the people. But after i realized this was more of a family and strong friend atmosphere i joined and started posting.

I made an account years ago to ask a question about something, didnt even have a Busa. I then forgot about everything, then stumbled back in when looking into a turbo. No lurking for me, I need to be heard!!!

I was just looking around and got the acct. Forgot i joined, when Telesmith1465 got his Busa, he told me about it, so I decide to check it not remembering i was already here. i think I tried joining again about Feb 2010.

So about a year before I ever posted I think.

I joined as soon as I found the site. I just had bought my busa and was looking to find others that had the new Gen. II. I am glad I found this site first. The other sites just don't cut it for me. It's a lot of great people on here and I wish I could meet all of them. Thanks to the mods for all you do to keep this site going. I always enjoy being on here

I also joined as soon as I found the site. I think one of my first questions was what I needed on a long trip. LOL, it was only 100 miles. But it was a long trip to me back then.

Let's see... I had Gpmo telling me about interesting posts he'd found on here for a month, started looking on my own after that, first post was about two weeks later or so. Week after first post I got my busa
