Never lurked couldent wait to sneak in with the crowed crazy enogh to take on the legend altho that was not to long ago

Took me over a year to join up - technology scares me; still not sure about this Internet thing.

Jeez cap, that was 8 years ago. I can't even remember yesterday anymore...

I think I did lurk for a day, maybe...joined while I still owned a Harley, then took the plunge and bought the Busa. Life's not been the same since

Joined the day I found the site, was a bit nervous because I'd never posted on a forum before.
Had to wait about 10 months after that before I got My Busa but in the meantime got a lot of good advice from folks, so thanks everbody.

Lurked for 2 years before I got a Busa.

Even now that I have the Busa I enjoy reading daily, but still rarely post.

Wow took me about 6 months:laugh:mainly because I didint know much about the Busa at the time to offer opinions or ask fro advice since I hadnt bought Kayma yet. But once I saw how helpfull people were I finally created an account before I went and bought her..probably about 6 mkonths prior.
I went and got her in January and was coerced into attending Spring bahs that year..it was 08..and I've never looked back:laugh:

I think you should put a section entitled:

For new arrivals, please read here first for the Stupid Questions Thread and answers

And it the very top of the thread you should say

Welcome, there are no stupid questions.
Now that we have that out fo the way, please sign up and welcome to the greatest Hayabusa community/family on the planet:laugh:

Or something like that:laugh:

I think lurked for a couple days before signing up and a couple more before posting.

My busa would not mean as much to me without the all the good people I've met here.

:rofl:I cannot possibly tell you the looks I got from the wife and kids as I loaded up a ton of buns and beer in the suburban and headed out...

And yes bro, I still remember you putting up with me and showing me how to change the windscreen away from the crowd so I wouldnt be embarrassed by my lack of wind screen chaging skills:rofl::rofl::bowdown:

i had Lucy for about a year when i started trying to find some info on doing some modding...i checked out this and a couple other sites for a couple weeks and found i fit in here the best so joined up...a couple weeks later i saw a thread for the first Eureka Springs MnG, put a couple tshirts, socks, and my camera in my brand new Icon tank bag, and headed out to meet what have become my best friends...my friends and family thought i had lost my mind but i am thnkful every day for all of you and the home i have found here :beerchug:

I'm certain I don't fit in, and I'm still not sure about the crowd.

Moloko you fit in and as far as I'm concerned you're more than welcome.

I had my bike for about two months before I joined. I was wanting to of course do some mods and googled Hayabusa. Kept getting links to threads on this site? I think I perused the index for a day or two before I joined. Had questions that it seemed y'all could def answer so a posting I went. The rest is history. Thanks to everyone for making me feel welcome right from the first post :beerchug:

not too long. 2 or 3 weeks. reading mostly. doing a little research before i bought my 08 busa. then i started with this stupid name as i was in a hurry to start asking questions. still havnt come up with a good name. my local nickname (busaboy) was already used. plus it would get wierd as i get older. someday i will come up with a new one as i dont have a new ride anymore.

I joined as soon as I found the site. I had just gotten my busa and googled a question that I had and the org was the first thing that popped up. Got my questioned answered and became a part of a great community all at the same time.

I pretty much joined as soon as i heard about it following the purchase of my bike. My screen name sucks but I have a terrible memory so its all i can do to remember it as is...
