How many are scared of the busa

I fear becoming too familiar and that breeding contempt, as the saying goes. When I start feeling so comfortable that I don't pay attention, that's when the shid will happen.

All Kawasaki owners....

Some people treat the Busa like its an insane machine.

Truth is:

You can pop a wheelie on a bicycle.
You can do a stoppie on a bicycle.
You can go fast fall off and get rash on a bicycle.
You can go fast fall off and get killed on a bicycle.

A motorcycle is just that, a motorcycle. It's got 2 wheels and a motor.

No, I wouldn't say I'm scared.
I am not scared of the cars either.
You can't go through life scared. Just be aware of your surroundings, and know yourself and your machine. You'll be okay.

Hey, shiznit happens, and I ain't gonna spend my life worrying about it.

some one told me that a hayabusa is the fastest bird in the world , meat eating mutant , hunting bird. He said it can zoom at you at crazy speed and claw your eyes right out. now thats something to be scared of. ( I hate birds ) Hayabusa = terrifying

I couldnt agree with you more, feeling comfortable can ultimately cause a loss of respect for the bike. and thats when things go wrong. always wear your gear !!! and remember what your right thumb is for.

I lover her at 171RWHP, she is like a passionate lover. She does have her own whips and chains that come out and play. The only thing that scares me about mine is the amount of money it will be to top 200RWHP on motor alone... Throttle control will minimize fear. Just cause you operate the fastest production bike in the world doesn't mean that you are going to use it to its full potential.

How many of you guys are scared of what the busa can do?
I am soooo scared, I see dead people!!!

<marquee>I am not Scared anymore!!!  I installed a TRE </marquee>

What kind of question is that in a forum like this?

If you were scared of something, would you pay $10K to have it?

Whoever is afraid of it should wait for Suzuki to release a pink one

I fear it and respect it. The minute I lose either one I'm going to sell it because I know at that point I'm going to kill myself on the beast....

i wouldnt say scared, but some fear brings reality back into effect for me... And then i smile and roll on...

Nope. No fear of the Busa itself.

Just fear of dirty rims, or fear of running out of rags to wipe off my wheels.

I don't exactly "fear" the busa, but I do respect it a great deal...
and YES, it HAS scared me before... Like the time I was doing a wheelie and got a gust of wind that almost takes me off roading... Or when I accelerated so hard that I hit my butt against the hump....
BUT, I've scared HER before, too... Like the time I almost hit a truck head on going 130-140mph around a long sweeper

. Thankfully, my superior riding skill and my not riding at 100% saved my butt by allowing me to correct my line. I got a little scared, but not as scared as the busa. Funny thing... it got so scared that one of her eyes burned out (hehe, the high-beam light went out later that day).
So all in all, the best relationship with the busa is one where A) you're in control, B) you're not "scared" of her (fear leads to mistakes), and C) you respect her power

No fear here. Just realize the Busa has the capability of testing the skill limitations of any rider. How far you push YOUR limits, is up to you.

If the issue is pure fear - that's a sure sign that person should not be riding a high performance bike!

No Fear, just respect. Fear makes you tense and do silly things. Respect keeps you focused and sharp.

im sure its fear when it starts to go wrong, respect and adrenaline when it goes right:) Ask Schumacher if he is afraid of his 01 Ferrari, 5g's in the corners is scary.
