it is a matter of taking care of the bike and replacing worn out compoments. 200,000 miles +

Looks like I am the low man. Only had it 2 months and just finished my 600 mile service .  

Gotcha beat...had my '06 for a little over a year now, and still have yet to break 1200 miles...


...Of course, you have to also take into consideration that I work in Iraq, lol...

22,000 on my '03.

There is no doubt that they have a strong Heritage, coming from the Eighties GS series.
I doubt that the '08s will be as strong in the long run.
When you start hollowing out shafts and dumping more fuel in the combustion chambers regularly, the intensity can't help but impact it's longevity.

Only had a bad fuel pump other than scheduled maintenace

My '06LE has 22k miles on it; the '08 has 2,500. So I voted in the 'under 10k' category.

My original '06LE had 13k miles on it, and my '02 had 18k miles.

All told, 55k miles on four different 'busas.
