It doesn't matter if you stayed on two wheels or not---any damage counts.

No dirtbike crashes/motorcross/etc, that doesn't really count anyway tounge.gif
However if you started on the street and ended up in the dirt----that counts!
1 good crash...limped for a couple weeks(went over handlebars) Yamaha Seca II 600.
1 brush-up on a mountain-side, but kept it on 2 wheels, just fairing scratches 2002 Black/Blue Busa
1 tip-over, actually my girlfriend tipped it accidentally so I won't count that as mine smile.gif

I didn't have anything to do with this poll did I? poke.gif laugh.gif I've been down and out of commission twice now. The first time I hit a tree and broke my leg in four places. This time I hit a car and broke the same leg again. At least this time I only broke it in two places. face7.gif

I have wrecked every bike but one that I have had, My first, a Suzuki Katana I did the stooopidist stunt, I got on when I had a few beers, I looked down, and when I looked up, I was heading to a curb, I launched and slid on the bike, no real damage to me Bike was totalled. Then I had a Ninja, Didn't wreck that one, Next came a CBR 900. I highsided that one after a fresh tire install and snapped my collar bone. (that really hurt) Then my first busa, it was a sweet ride, completely chromed and mod'd. I used to 12 Oclock it all the time doin wheelies, one day while teaching someone else how to ride standups I tried it, only problem, I didn't have my tail hump on. Found out gravity works. I am now on my second Busa, a 2004 and plan to keep this one rubber side down.

This was actually the reason I found this site, I was looking for parts to rebuild and did a keyword search. What happened was: I was on my way to work, behind a taxi no less,we were only going about 45,in a industrial area where there is alot of oil, sand and other contaminents on the road.,then a catapiller front end shovel pulled across the road in front of the taxi, no problem right? well he started to back up across our lane again without looking! The taxi locked his up, I locked mine up,the road was slick as glass! I came off the bike and was tumbling down the oncoming lane to be ran over by a 4x4 Nissan patrol! Broke my left ankle. Was out of work for a month, but now everything is ok, I'm at about 90% physically and the bike imo never looked better!wink.gif

All the plastic had to be replaced, the fairing stay was shite, rear subframe was toast and the gauge cluster crushed! All back together now with the help of a few board members!cool.gif

I was really fond of the black and purple, but my friends told me it was bad luck to put it back as it was, so i painted it this fugged up orange as BigBS can bear witness to.....

1 lowside on my custom 2 years ago at Sturgis. bike was to low and hit a dip in a left hand turn which bottomed the frame and low sided us. Some pretty good road rash for both me and my wife, but the real trauma was watching a $65k custom slide down the road with chrome showering off of it. Bike is even better than before and insurance paid for it so it's all good. Click my web link if you want to see pics of it! smile.gif

first time was back around 82. went over the bars of my 79 kz-750 after hitting the curb. lucky I quess,no damage to me or the bike. About 3 months ago on the busa,I stalled in the middle of a right turn. Any way with my short little legs I couldn't stop it from falling. Small scratches on rt side of fairing & front fender.
