Curious if OK to register your bike w/o one? Here in CA, got to have one to get plates/tags.

I know we all have diferent situations, age, tickets, # of vehicles, etc. There is a huge difference though in what is sounds like people are paying. I have no tickets, been riding for 20 yrs., single, 4.0 gpa graduate student, full coverage 500 deductable for 102.00 per/month. I dont get it. I've shopped arround and coudn't find any better.

$32/mo with USAA (full, $500 DED, married, enough speeding tickets, 48 years old). Also have another bike and 4 cars insured with them
