Wife did it a few times on the GS1100E with no problems but get her on my Sportster with a back rest and she would fall asleep. I'd feel the bike do a little wiggle and I told her I'm going to strap you to the back rest next time lol. The good thing is she's never been on the B King cause she probably fall off and I wouldn't know it.
First trip on the bike was with the wife over most of the length of this country. Coming from a 2023 Road Glide with stock suspension and a top box both of us were just blown away with how comfy the busa was two up. Like better in every way save the sound track and storage..

It is about yay long for the whirlwind tour but easily double that for the full coastal route. Stewart Island and the Chatham Islands are sort of accessible, the Auckland and Kermadec Islands, not so much.
Yup. . . that blue line goes right thru my little town (Darfield). You might run into @Kiwi Rider
somewhere along that route...

Does someone know the best (comfortable) position for a passenger on a sport bike?
I of course lean enough to keep my elbows bent, then my wife bent her body too, to keep a good contact, then she complained she couldn't keep long her head up. I certainly do a lot of fitness to my back to be able to ride long but this is not suitable for the passenger. My usual position is that one:
