Thanks, everybody. The pictures do not do the bike justice, PB will see when he receives the bike back this week. The attention to detail by my turbo builder- Jay - is the main reason it took so long, but came out so good. In regard to washing the bike: if you have to take a hose to it, you just put a plastic bag over the shootout filter and you will be fine. You can also ride the bike in the rain if you have to - I wouldn't do it for reasons already mentioned, but an oil/gauze type air filter will repel water somewhat. Of course a downpour or trying to navigate puddles is unwise, but if you get caught out there, you can still ride the bike - it won't choke out and die.
PB, take note on the controls: on the left panel is a blue indicator light that tells you your water pump for your Ultra Plenum has power; the chrome switch in the middle is for the air shifter: down is for the horn, up turns your horn button into the air shifter button; and of course, the gauge to the right of it shows air pressure in the system.
Left handlebar switches: left - fan override switch; middle - auto shift; right - compressor. The fan switch will turn both fans on when the bike is off, and will override the bike's normal fan relay when necessary while still allowing the fan relay to work at all times. The auto shift switch in the middle is connected to the shift light: when this switch is on (up) the air shifter will shift at your shift light setting, which right now is 11,000 rpm. As long as there is air in the system, and that switch is up, when that bike hits 11,000 rpm, it will shift to the next gear. It will do this regardless of where the chrome shifter switch on the panel is (the horn button switch). If you have the horn button switch on the left black panel "up", you can still use the horn button to shift before the autoshift kicks in, if you want. The right switch for the compressor is another "auto" switch: when you put it on, the air compressor automatically pumps up to 140 pounds and stops. With this switch up, you can ride around all day not worrying about your air pressure. As you use the air shifter and pressure goes down, the sensor will see this and turn the compressor on again to maintain pressure regardless of how much you use the shifter.
Right handlebar switch: the simple one, a toggle and a kill lanyard. The toggle switch on this side is your map switch: up for C16, down for pump gas. Because this bike is mapped throughout for both, it does not matter what boost level you are at. Just don't go past 18 pounds on pump gas - your 400 hp setting in the boost controller.
I will be sending a package to you with some instructions you may need, like how to change the programming in your digital launch/shift light, and the boost controller and so on. Any questions or concerns you have should be directed my way before, not after, okay?
