honestly the one thing on that list I wouldn't do is the high compression pistons...makes that 88" motor sound sweet...and definitely makes more power, but keeping it from knocking is nearly impossible...stick with the std compression.I rattled off your list and he just sat there nodding in agreement as if the Commandments had just been spoken or something...He's gonna need a 95" bigbore kit, 268 SE cams, HC pistons, race-tuner, some V&H pipes, SE air filter, baker 6sp trans kit........uh, I'm sure we can think of some other cool stuff for him. He's already priced the 6 speed tranny...I'm thinking "$14k bike and then he wants to mod it?" I'm not near the $14k mark on my Busa, so HE'LL have to wait a bit...

HD also makes a 6 speed kit now too.. But if he doesn't do any motor mods it is kind of a waste of time as the stock 88 doesn't have enough poop to make use of 6th gear.
