Yikes! Rinse 'er, ummmm, him off first to wash away any loose grit/grime to keep from rubbin' it into yer paint. And just fer good measure, hose down the hubby for ridin' it in the rain. ;)

Yeah, she prolly had hubby a fresh bucket of soapy water and a wash mit waitin' when he got home. I shoulda give 'er more credit I guess...

:D

Well...his ride home was very long and miserable...when I heard my bike pulling up, I ran out and he was already squirting Caesar off...he was drenched and looked very unhappy...

He didn't know it was going to rain...so, I felt kind of bad for being upset to begin with...but, couldn't help it - it's my new toy! I refrained from going out and washing/wiping it down...thought that might look like I'm only worried about a bike! :D

Supposed to rain for the rest of the week, so no more riding for a while

...and he won't give up the Miata, unless it's for a Z3 or the new GT350's coming out soon...

He'll just keep borrowing my Busa...he said he can't get comfortable on my bike, and his Harley is much more suitable for a guy his size...I know taller and heavier guys ride it just fine, but he can't get comfy on it...

denial denial denial....

There's one thought that won't leave my mind... You have a Mustang and a He-Busa, and your husband has a Miata and an Harley... Have you ever considered buying real machines?

VA, You had to see this coming...and I dunno how you are going to keep the peace but there is NO WAY I would Let another (Man, Especially) Take Lilah out...

Men Have these funny little things called ego's...and another funny thing we'll call...Machismo...(Though He does drive a Miata...hmmmm). Anyway point is, he is going to take Ceasar out and feel the need to give him a try. To explore it's limits, to basically ride it hard...Let him do this to his own toys, not yours. You know as well as I that there is NO need for him to be on your baby. Don't let it become a habit, He'll break your stuff. Not on purpose but it could happen... (Insert doom and gloom noises)

My .02 :D

You guys must not have to cope with a spouse wanting your toys?! Imagine your wives/girlfriends riding 750's or something...they're fully licensed and capable of taking care of themselves...they ask for the Busa keys and you say "no"!? Ha! And then you spend the rest of the month figuring out why she's pissed at you? I won't even mention all the things you might be denied because of this!

My husband and I have full coverage on everything we own, and we're insured on every vehicle in our driveway...we swap cars and bikes all of the time...if I told him he couldn't take the Busa, he'd never talk to me again! It's easy for you guys because it's not an issue for you...I'm a minority here...hello? Married woman on a Busa...husband's been riding longer than I have...can't tell him "no"...it could get ugly real fast! :tounge:

Rev...I fully agree with you...he'll break it eventually...so, I can only hope he really doesn't like riding it and let it rest! :D

I think I have "real" machines! You just referring to him? If so, I'm not his keeper...he knows what he likes, and believe me, the toy list is long!!! He's got a '65 Mustang, builds go-carts, wants so many vehicles at any moment of the day, just bought a boat...if he likes his Miata and Harley, who am I to change his mind? Does make riding the Busa hard though...I have to go slow so he can keep up! :D

Actually, we haven't ridden together yet...

I personally wouldn't care how pissed my wife got. Licensed or not, capable or not, there is no way that I would ever give her the keys to the busa! Just goes against my religion / morals / beliefs. If I had a 600 or 750 then I might let her take it to the store or something, but those are less expensive (usually) to fix. I see this becoming a bad habit for him, please don't let that happen

LOL! You guys are busaholics! Way too addicted to your ride... j/k

I understand fully how guys are with their toys! I married a big kid... :D

rockin the cradle huh? then you definately shouldn't be letting him ride your busa!!

oh nooooo...just one of those guys that'll never really grow up; probably much like many of you and guys in general?

Always looking for the next toy...building things that go fast...did I mention he once built a racing lawnmower?! Yeah, embarrassing to admit, but he wanted to race something, so he did it...damn thing went nearly 50 mph I think...maybe even faster! BIG KID...that's what he is...

Here...have a peek at the work my BIG KID does! It's funny...

Better get sum good before pics of the busa before he starts cuttin' and choppin' on it!

Sorry, I couldn't resist!

Hey, did he ever move the mower? It's sittin' in the same place/position in both pics! :super:

If I had a lawnmower like that I wouldn't mind cutting the grass... The yard would be all tore up from going 50mph dragging a knee into the corner...

:super:
