Hump storage

the upper is for the hid light. the bottom is for the tail lights. so i can go stealth no lights. why. just because,i was bored one day when it was raining.

OK, time for a dumb question:  Why do you need to switch your HID?
It will help extend the life of the HID ignitor by eliminating the light stutter (on and off) when starting the bike. A cheap insurance like frame sliders !!!!
 
Is that for ALL years or only the 2005 and newer that kill the headlight when starting?

To answer you question......if your (any model) headlight remains on during startup I would suggest installing a relay with a weatherproof off and on toggle switch when doing the HID install.
 
Actually I have noticed that the lights go off when starting the bike, and mine is an 06,
 
that`s why there is a hid switch. so they do not come on until the bike is running:cool:
