So they just issued mandatory evacuations for all of coastal South Carolina. Looks like Georgia might be next. That will include me.

Luckily I’m about 40 miles from the coast. Mine won’t be a mandatory evacuation. My family lives on the coast right on the water so they will have to go. I will probably go just to avoid the lack of electricity. I have a generator but it’s still a hassle.

Lived through Andrew in south florida back in 92, had no power for a long time. Thats the worst part of it! We are supposed to get 55+mph tomorrow, but that is nothing compared to the poor people in Bahamas dealing with 185+
