I bought a GPS....now what?

Those Zumos are WAAAYYYY out of my price range, and they are tiny, I need a big screen.

Tiny? The Zumo 660 and 665 both have a 4.3" display just like the 1390T.
Out of your price range? Yes, they are expensive, but considering the ones in your price range don't do what you want ... Start saving now, monitor the internet for deals and you'll have one in no time. I just found a refurb 660 for $460 after rebate.

Part of the expense on these models is that they're packaged with both auto and bike mounting hardware. Granted the bike hardware is a bar mount, but for about $15 you can get the stem mount. The base mount that the GPS clips into is designed for motorcycling, it has large lugs that grab the unit securely, waterproof electrical port with wiring to an audio out jack and to connect to the bikes electrical system for continuous power for those long rides.

Right now the Zumo 550 is the best GPS for the features, price, compatibility with autocom, and mounting to a motorcycle.
Anything else you will have to compromise.
If you use a GPS to navigate while moving and you do not have audio turn by turn in your helmet, you are asking for trouble. Looking down at a gps while moving will end in disaster.

That happens to me when I go faster than 150.
